I hate it when I'm in a room full of people, and I go find myself a little isolated spot to be alone, and then people come into my isolated spot to make small talk. It wouldn't be so bad if they had anything of substance to say, but they just say stupid things that annoy me. Last time this occurred:

Me: That's 'cuz I'm standing here by myself, dumbass!

Well, with me, I get easily annoyed with everyone around me and that's usually why I don't talk to people a lot of times.

I'm not a big talker at all unless I am around my closest friends or if I have been drinking.t:

I'm just not that good at small talk and I don't really have a need to be the center of attention so I tend to just keep to myself. I have been accused of being somewhat aloof when the truth is I am just a laid back person. Even when I'm on the Hype I don't post very often. I like to browse through the threads and see what everyone else is talking about.

I had that happen today. I'm prefabbing some material and some guy walks by and is like are you always quiet. Well considering I'm working by myself what the **** do you expect me to do talk to the wall. I wanted to cuss him out but I let it slide,even after he called me baby which annoys the **** out of me too. So most of the day he tried to make small talk about stupid stuff,he was doing it to push my buttons. I just gave him a blank stare as he talked,let him finish and went back to working with no response. God I'm evil


I can be a social butterfly but I find work is not the place. I've met some really cool people at work but lately it's been some serious dumb asses.


I'm very friendly when I've been drinking.

LOL, that's what most of the quiet people say, when they drink they're outgoing. I've known people that were quiet both drunk and sober, so I don't know what you can do with that.
