Is anyone, other than me, actually excited about this movie? I, for one, am a huge fan of the series and am really looking forward to watching it.

I know that it hasn't gone down that well in Australia but still... half the time critics don't know what they're talking about.

So, are any of you actually going to see it?

I want to see it because it looks like fun, but I think I'll be watching it on what y'all call cable, aka Foxtel. It looks like a silly but fun popcorn movie!

I watched it yesterday in the cinema, Good Crack...

decent westernised fight scenes, it's quite clear that some of the leading ladies took their roles fairly seriously and went all out in training...

especially the lady playing ayane and also that presley lady playing Tina.

it is cheesy but it was alright, can't really complain.

Holly valance's body is amazing though...

^

You should have invited me to whichever local cinema you went to for some cheap girl fight movie action. :p

There's not a chance I'll be able to drag any friends to see this.

ha, you should have said....

I watched it at the Odeon after i went for a run in the peaks yesterday, i'm knackered...

:o

have you seen any young meat/freshers in town yet, or better yet what they have done to bar one and the interval:eek:

I was down in the city centre yesterday afternoon, but didn't see much in the way of freshers. They would still have been getting settled into their accommodation and meeting their new crew I should think.

I'm going to see if I can drag a couple of friends down West Street on Monday though. See all the freshers doing the excited 'we're new to Sheffield' thing that I did a couple of years back.

At least the streets won't be dead any longer. There are actually people around.

couldn't really see but the closest would be an aerial view of holly valance's when her bra is falling on. not sure if her nipple was edited back in for the actual feature or whether it's still not featured.

that's the best you are going to get in it for nudity. but there is plenty of swim suit action though.

i was gonna see it anyways.....

theres already a thread on this btw....

it looks like a big steaming pile of crap...if I want to see fight scenes, I'll watch a hong kong cinema movie, and if I want to see hot chicks, I'll watch some porn

Then why not watch this film? It has both.

so you would rather watch small chinese men beat each other up instead of chicks in bikinis beating each other up?

gay...

:D

I'll watch it because Corey Yuen (LEGEND OF FONG SAI-YUK, HIGH RISK, ALL FOR THE WINNER) is the director.

Is this even being released wide in theaters? I've yet to see the trailer in theaters.

I would go to see this if it were coming to theaters in Finland. It's going straight-to-DVD here. So = warez.

It has already been released over here in a local theater nearby and I'm deciding whether I should go or not. If I feel like it, I MIGHT go see it this Thursday. Stopping by for comics, anyway. Might as well spend a little extra money, watching B-movie fun.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Dumping money into this gives a chance for a Ninja Gaiden spinoff movie being made, and for that reason I will see it five times

hayubusa isnt that hardcore in this film...

he couldn't even handle bayman in a one-on-one

How many of the Dead or Alive guys feature in the film?

Do we see Bass? Jan Lee. Any indication of their relationships with Tina and Lei Fang?

Corey Yuen is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay beyond wasting his talent with crap like DOA.

Still could lead to a spinoff.

bass and tina are tight in the film....
jang lee and leifang are pretty much cameo apperances, basically there to fill in the void and to be defeated by others...

this film doesn't try to include all the characters in the stories just the main five leading ladies, haybusa and and hayate (who comes across as teh more badass one when i always got the impression it was the other way round).

i understand this film will be on dvd next month[october]i don't know the exact date though:ninja:
