Corey Yuen is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay beyond wasting his talent with crap like DOA.

But given his proclivity for unpretentious kung fu comedies, I suspect he had a gas making it...unlike other HK directors whose Hollywood experiences have been marked by such humiliations as talking kangaroos, Mr. Magoo, and Jean-Claude van Damme.

MK had neither.

The game had a great story, but it was squandered in the movie.

The MK movie was like The Goonies but with grownups who should know better and kung-fu battles.
