I mean a game that is less RPG and more action adventure where you can be in big environments with a team and switch between them. Something that looks more like a spider-man game with big area's instead of what X-men Legends did and what they are continuing in Marvel Ultimate Alliance
. I mean those games are fun and all but if you play all 3 right in a row nothing changes and the sroty part of all of them isn't very good. I'd like to fight sentinels in a big city area, fight Magneto, Mr. Sinister, and Apocalypse in a large enviornment, go to the Savage lands and fight Sauron etceter, but sadly no one will make a game like this.:csad:

Hell I reckon they should just remake COTA with StreetFighter4 or StreetFighter HD engines.

That game was AWESOME!

Yeah a more expansive environment would be great.

Minor gripe I had with the X-MEN LEGENDS or MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE games was the four-people-to-a-team thing. I understand that it's going to be really difficult to implement more than that, but no great X-Men team had just four characters.

Also the choice of characters usually left someone hugely important out - Angel didn't make either XML game.

I would like to see an XMen Begins game, with the original 5, and then they get captured and enter X's new recruits: Storm, Logan, Nightcrawler, Rogue, Colossus or whoever

I would luv to see a game where Dark Phoenix/Jean is the main villain, Hellfire Club

I'd just like a game with a story I really don't enjoy playing XML the story is barely there with the graphics engines we have I'd like to see actual story like something as good as metal gear solid 4... we don't need 40 minute long cut scenes like that, but something where you are paying attention the whole game. they could easily give us a 5 character team, plus allow non player controlled characters in big fights. like you could pick your 5 and then pick 3 or 4 for the computer to control for you and if a character dies one of the comp controlled ones joins you party for you to control.

hell yes! i want a new game sooooo bad!

i really think they could expand the xmen legends series into what bryanss3 said.

i mean, we have a lot to work with there. but at the same time if they started a new series, id be just as happy. something like a zelda game. those kick so much as$! just instead of one character you could have a team.

and i def. agree that you should be able to have five characters to a team rather than four.

Although, if they kept up the theme of tying in w/the movies, Callisto would be a real pain in the @$$ to fight.

Loved the Arcade and Sega Games...I loved Children of the Atom (Spiral was my favorite in that game) and X-Men vs Street Fighter (arcade not the playstation version, even though I had it...)......I really loved the 2 Mutant Academy games...I hated Next Dimension though...

and I love the X-Men Legends games....

but I think it would be interesting to do direct adaptations of some of the big X-Stories in video game form...even though Rise of Apocalypse was partially inspired by the Age of Apocalypse...(and The Twelve)...I would totally love to see an Age of Apocalypse game...even a Fatal Attractions game...(even though Children of the Atom was set in that story)...

What about Messiah Complex in video game form...? ...to me that would be cool......maybe if they ever decide to do X-Men Legends 3?

I miss the old arcade game.

as much as I like the 2 Legends games...I still think b/w the arcade game and clone wars are the two best x-men games...actually my top five would be...:

1. X-Men: The Arcade Game
2. X-Men 2: Clone Wars (The best game/memories from my childhood!)
3. X-Men Legends 2: Rise of Apocalypse
4. X-Men Legends
5. X-Men (SEGA Genesis)

with the following rounding out my top ten

6. X-Men (Game Gear...most reviews I read were bad...but I liked it...and my Game Gear...best handheld ever!)
7. X-Men: Children of the Atom
8. X-Men: Mutant Academy 2
9. X-Men: Mutant Academy
10. TIE>>>X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse (I never had the game when it orginally came out...but played it recently...)...or...Spider-Man/X-Men: Arcade's Revenge...(I remember my mom getting this one when it came out...damn...I Feel old...)...both games were hard!

I'd love an update of the arcade game, that was the best game EVER! (until Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was released of course)

I still want a X-Men Legends 3, with Onslaught as the main threat.

id deffinatley love if they came out with an action adventure x-men game, with an open ended enviroment like the newer spiderman games or like gta but done in a x-men way (no duh),exploring all of new york and the x mantion,id also like cool cutscenes and the type of conversation where i dont need to press continue after every sentence,

a next demestion sequel would be fun,id love to see a x-men or even marvel fighter with a 100 character plus character selection, id never get tired of a game like that.

Fighting games are okay, but I would really love to have an multiplayer open level action game. That would really make my year.

Am I the only Dazzler fan?...I loved her in that game...

...The White Queen was my favorite boss...and probably the easiest to beat

Dude... Dazzler was the ISH in that game. Storm on the other hand looked like a dude.

i know! so many characters havent had their time to shine in a video game yet! i say they give us three new video games!

an xmen legends 3, cuz that series was fun, another rpg would be cool
a fighter game, possibly a next dimension sequel. (i love that one)
and an open ended first person action game like zelda, only you can play as lots of different characters

That would make my summer, easily.

They could easily do something like Spider Man or something.

They obviously wouldn't have enough room to fully include every story line, so I'd suggest saving Apocalypse and Phoenix for later releases.

But they could have a Magneto/Sentinel story line:

Bosses like:
Blob
Juggernaut
Toad
Pyro
Avalanche
Quick Silver
Scarlet Witch
Sabre Tooth
Mystique
Etc

20-30 character roster:
Wolverine
Cyclops
Jean
Storm
Rogue
Jubilee
Gambit
Colossus
Night Crawler
Beast
Ice Man
Etc

Each character could play differently and obviously have different attacks based on their mutant abilities. They could easily make huge environments where battles are going on throughout the city, making your team split up and help save the city. They could have many obstacles where certain powers need to be used, so that you're not always using say Storm to fly around and electricute people, you may need to use Iceman to save a child from a fire, Colossus to hold back a bus heading straight into a puppy hospital etc.

Lol you basically described X-men Legends 1 right there.

That's what I was thinking. Except Erik's kids weren't in it.

I absolutely adore X-Men Legends and UA.

I'd like them to continue with that Action RPG style but definitely up the visuals, create a more expansive/immersive story, and make the fighting more in-depth. Despite the combos and all the mutant powers the game could be played just as effectively by button mashing, if you will. I'd also make choice of team far more important, It's kind of a bad thing and good thing at the same time that you could choose the same four characters in both games and own all that cross your path with them. The good part is you can pick your favorites and who works best for you, but the bad part is the same thing, you don't have to fully utilize a variety of characters.

Throughout all of XML2, I tried a couple different combos on replays, but the first time and most of my replays I went with Wolverine, Cyclops, Colossus, and Nightcrawler. Unstoppable. :D
