How can you spoil a movie you've never seen?
*shakes his head*

You guys are sony's dreams come true. Piece by piece they could give you a whole spidey movie, spoiling everything from the fabric of the costumes to a piece of pixilated debris falling to the ground in the last CG shot and like sheep, they know you'll flock in unspeakbale droves, throwing away your money at footage that you all would have ultimately already seen.
*Claps*
I love getting hyped for a movie but I know my limits, which is something that cant be said for most of the people here. I avoided the spidey forums for the most part up until about late november and since then have allowed myself to know about certain things surrounding this movie. Granted, some are huge spoilers but aren't big enough to spoil or ruin this movie for me......but I've never complained about it and never will.
I understand what you mean. If I complained about the movie being spoiled because of someone else-- that would just be hypocritical. But, do you agree that there is a distinction between reading plot points and seeing large amounts of footage before the movie comes out? I know the major elements of the story, and I suppose you can say twists, but I don't think it will take away from the experience of the movie (at least, for me.) If I were to watch every single clip released for this movie, however, I probably wouldn't be able to say the same.
I am happy I know what happens. It gives me a safe sense of security![]()

I feel like I've seen too much. When I go to the theater to watch the movie, I am already going to know what happens. It's going to be like "Oh this is the part when... and now this is when... oh Peter should be doing this now... oh yeah and now this is happening..."
Perhaps I just feel that the trailers have shown too much, and I've spoiled a lot of the surprise for myself, especially now that I know what Venom looks like. I'm a little pissed at myself.
23 days WHOOOI haven't been spoiled. I am still going to be amazed when I see the film. I have read the novilezation but I haven't seen what happen's so technically reading it is a little bit different than seeing it. and beside's, there is still scene's we have not seen befor, so we shouldn't get nervous that now we already know what's going to happen. either way I'm still excited and very happy that May 4th is here. there is over 2 hour's of this movie and we have seen hardly 10 minute's of it. it's not like we have seen half of the film.
anyway, I'm glad that for the past 3 year's I have been reading and watching spoiler's which have gotten me very excited to see this film.
same here...but i like suprises :PThe fact that I seen tons of photos and footage and read the novelization won't ruin my movie experience.![]()
that is so not long. I'm ready for Spidey3!!!!23 days WHOOO
.
Then why are you in the Spider-Man 3 spoilers section? Like to live dangerously, eh?I worry about it from time-to-time...so I avoid spoilers like the plague now that the movie is so close.
Suprisingly, there isn't much more spoiling "news" in here anymore...Then why are you in the Spider-Man 3 spoilers section? Like to live dangerously, eh?![]()
Anyway, I avoided the novelization thread so I'm as happy as a clam.
