Newuniversal has been cancelled? theres no issue next month or july

Next week's issue #6 says this on the Marvel site:

The Story: A Starbrand. A Nightmask. A Justice. A Cipher. They are manifestations of god-like power on Earth, chosen by the Universe. In the conclusion to the first arc of this RED-HOT new series, four newly-ascended super humans must accept their new existences…and survive those who would exterminate them.

So, I would think they are just taking a break inbetween story arcs.

Quesada confirmed it's taking a break after the initial arc.

Fox lets shows run for whole seasons now? Wow, back when I watched anything other than 24 on that channel, they canceled stuff before they even finished airing the first batch of episodes they commissioned.

It's dangerous to get interested in serial television programs. While a few might last a whole season (which is risky enough, i.e. Kidnapped), many end in cliffhangers never to be resolved (i.e. Invasion). The original example for me will always be Twin Peaks. It had the ultimate cliffhanger (loads and loads of people were in danger in various ways, and we'll never know the outcome). Luckily, Jericho got picked up after all the peanuts were sent to CBS. Sure, I was getting tired of the show, it never seemed as good as the first bunch of episodes; but, it ended with the town going to war with another town and no resolution. At least we can be sure Lost will get to finish out its story. I just hate that we only get 16 episodes per season, and each season won't start until February.

I have to say, Invasion was asking for it and Surface was as well. They were both Lost rips made to try and blackmail the network into more seasons.
