Sequels Does it HAVE to be a trilogy? Can it go beyond three films?

I hope Cavill is signed on to do 10 of these movies. I'd love to see it go beyond three films, but as long as we get a good trilogy, I'll be happy. Anything beyond that is gravy.

Cavill is currently only signed for two nore films. I can only see him doing 6 films tbh. 8 could be a huge treat with maybe 5 Superman films and a Justice League trilogy.
