The Dark Knight Rises Would Nolan go on to a Batman Beyond Movie?

i think Nolan will Batman 3 and move on to different projects, Example: may move to do a James Bond movie in the future.

If anything, after Nolan's Bat-franchise is done, say after the 3rd movie, then Warner Brothers should wait a few years and go into a Batman Beyond franchise.
I always thought that Bruce Wayne taking in a young guy as a replacement for Batman was far more interesting than him getting a side-kick.

So they should follow the Batman Beyond story line. Set in the future, and Bruce Wayne is old and in comes this young guy who becomes the new Batman.
Bruce Wayne trains him and becomes this guys mentor and weapons builder.

This would be amazing to watch on the big screen

I can understand that. I like his style, but his sensibilities seem more rooted in gritty, grimy realism and dark drama, than the sleek shiny futuristic style that Batman Beyond calls for.
But you never know, if they come up with a great script and solid cast it doesn't mean he isn't talented enough to accomodate it.

But I would just rather see a new director's vision.

A director like Darren Aronofsky or Ridley Scott would do the project justice.

futuristic Sci-Fi epics aren't really Nolan's forte.

I'd say it'd be an interesting way to continue after Nolan. That way you can skip to a fully established Bat-universe in the futre with Robin, Batgirl, etc. coming and going.

But I doubt it would ever happen.

I don't think it's impossible. More likely is he'll just forward Batman five years or so until we get a character and a city that's very different from TDK.

Mechanical suits, copycats, futuristic villains, a worn-out Batman, I don't think they're too far off at all.

I'm with Batboy99 he likes things to be realistic, so he wouldn't really consider doing this project. Maybe get some one who did the Terminator, that was a futuristic movie right?

Nolan also quotes Bladerunner as his favorite movie. And the question of realism kind of changes when you're talking about obvious sci-fi. plus look a how Nolan handled sci-fi in The Prestige, you can see it's not beyond him.

James Cameron has been exploring the bottom of the sea and creating the technology to film Avatar for the last ten years. It will probably be one the most revolutionary films ever made. He wants to save the entire cinema and blockbuster film industry from piracy and DVD's and jumpstart the global conversion to 3D cinemas. It's 20% live action and 80% percent fully immersive 3D photorealistic CGI. It has mostly little known actors but the lead is a very talented Australian who was on the shortlist for James Bond and is rightfully due to hit the big time. Hopefully, if there's a Batman 3, Nolan will finish the story he set out to tell. After that, maybe after a few years, a Batman Beyond movie could be made. If so, Chris Nolan is the man for the job. However, I wouldn't want it to be all futuristic. I'd like a movie kind of like "The Mask of Zorro".

the problem with that comment about the "side kick thing" is that as I said in another thread he had dick Grayson, Tim drake, and Jason Todd as his partners for other reason's other then just that. he took them in and made them his partners and also took them in as a contigency plan.

if anything did infact happen to him self as in death mostly ether of those three would take over for him in being the dark night. and they have take over the mantal of the bat any way.

any way we all know why terry took over. Bruce got old and as shown with the last animateed series with in batman beyound tim is old as showin the movie that enedthe series so it's obvious so is grayson .

and it's obvious bruce's daughter as show in the brids of prey if she does exsist in the batman beyond universes still want's nothing to do with bruce money wise or taking over title wise, so terry got the job.

the only thing that still has me thinking and I thought about it alot was when it was revilled that terrys actually dad's dna was spiked with brues DNA by cadmus and his baby bro looks so much like terry does it mean bruce actully has three kids? hmmmmmm cause it's obvious terry and his bro don't look like the the man that they called dad that was killed and got terry into this in the first place. anyway

Nolan's actually a big Sci Fi fan. I'd like to see him do one someday, but it won't be Batman Beyond.
