Title is pretty self explanatory. Sable was introduced in a Spider-Man comic and has been a reoccurring character in them. Sony used her in the new animated series and spectacular, so they had tv rights. However other characters similar like Cloak and Dagger and the Punisher belong to Marvel and Sable has been with other heroes. So does Sony have the sole rights to Sable, is it shared, or does Marvel have her?

She was in the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoons that SONY made, so that's proof she's with SONY as that show could only use Sony leased characters.

Right. Which is why they couldn't use The Kingpin. Because Fox (and now Marvel) had the rights.

So Sony does have Silver Sable.

Was Spectacular Spider-Man made after Sony gave Spider-Man's television rights back to Marvel? Because that's really the only way we'd be able to gauge whether or not Sony has the rights to the Silver Sable character.

It was made before, and ended up getting cancelled because Sony lost the rights after Season 2.

The tv contract was a different one than the film contract. That's how Sony can keep making movies, but the TV show was canceled immediately after Disney bought Marvel.
