From Quint at Aint It Cool (in his update)
There may be some spoilers here, so be careful.

I might be misinterpreted this, but you know the shot in the trailer that looks like James Franco had a pumpkin bomb lobbed at him? I think Peter throws it. There was a series of shots with voice over talking about regret and doing things you shouldn't. There was that shot from the trailer and a shot of Parker looking pissed off, mask off, but black suit on. He's standing in the hallway, Franco's on the floor and it really does look like he tosses the bomb. There's a shot later of James Franco being loaded onto a stretcher, neck brace on.

There was some Sandman stuff. Rough effects, again, of Spidey punching Sandman's face, part of his mouth flying off in particles (sand). The rough animation had his skeletal structure underneath, but that could all be for reference. There was also a shot of Sandman with his giant hammer hand whooping the **** out of Spider-Man, sending him flying off camera... That's what I remember the most from the footage... besides that awesome Venom footage... The panel went on.... more on that in a moment...

If you do now know what i am talking about look at my avatar.

interesting, I would have thought he would be dead from that, but I guess not, nice find

Franco on the stretcher with the neck brace is after the first Spidey/GG2 fight where he flies into the wall.

Doubt it's from a pumpkin bomb.

AwWw lol Atleast he survives that! I just dont want him in that suit for the whole movie.

if he goes in a freaking stretcher to the hospital surely a dr or cop would ask 'hey what were you doing playing with those pumpkin bombs?'

From what I saw (I was at Comic Con) it looked like Peter threw the bomb at Harry with the symbiote suit visible under his clothes, no mask on though. He then walked away, even casually it seemed. It may have just looked that way from the way the footage was cut; it moved really quickly. I don't remember the footage of Harry being in a stretcher, but again it moved by really quickly and so I could be mistaken.

That could be a thing the suit is doing to Peter like how it's telling Peter Sandman helped kill Uncle Ben or something. I don't know if the Uncle Ben thing is still confirmed as being a real thing that actually happens without the Symbiote telling Peter that or not though.

Like I said a long time ago, if a bomb that can blow up building hits Harry that close, he's dead. Even the impact of the explosion could knock him in a wall killing him. Plus all those other bombs and weapons in there, they would explode. The Glider has to have gas in it. The building would fall too.

I bet it's something the Symbiote is doing to Peter.

Guess Its Symboite Spidey Who Does This

Yes, Spider-man DID throw it at him.

He was wearing the symbiote costume along with a trenchcoat. No mask.

In the footage we also see Harry in a neck brace and on a gurney. So I don't think this kills him but seriously injures him.

Read my post.:p

It makes sense to me. They're trying to fool you!

i think quint misinterpreted wrong. the pumpkin bomb would killl harry.

Not if he took the performance enhancers...

Spider-Man took a pumpkin bomb to the face, and he only got a few scratches. And considering it's pretty obvious that Harry has the performance enhancers (he punches through a brick wall with no adverse effects in the original teaser), he'll be fine.

can performance enhancers save someone from being disinigrated? does it make skin tissue un dissolvable because in spider-man 1 a pumpkin bomb totally disinigrates 3 people and the bomb wasnt even as close as it was to harrys face. but then again one blew up by peter and left him pretty much uninjured who knows :)

The bomb that peter 'took to the face' was about 2 feet away from him. With harry, its inches from his face...you can see the skin coming off of his face. No way he'd survive that.

In SM:1 Peter took a Pumpkin bomb to the face and doesn't even have a scratch to this day. It's a comic book movie. Physics doesn't play much into it. Plus if Harry has taken the green goop then he has a healing factor.

Symbiote-Spidey is a bad mofo!!!
