That Nick Fury movie is dreadful. I remember watching it on Scifi around 2002 or so.


Anyway RDJ hinted at the fact that IM and WM would be teamed up Butch and Sundance style before the end of the film. So I am looking forward to some funny exchanges between the two.

I typically watch a movie on an actor I had never seen before on screen to see if he or she is good or not.

Don Cheadle is, in my mind, a much better actor than Terrence Howard, or at least much more consistent. The only doubt I had was would he have the physical presence to be a convincing Rhodey - and the Comic Con footage showed him slipping into that role like a hand into a glove. In my opinion, Cheadle is a more exciting name to add to your all-star ensemble than Howard, so the sequel is going to benefit from the recast.

Agreed. Like I said, I liked Howard as Rhodey, but i don't think he could of pulled off War Machine. Though watching IM last week and Howard saying, "Next time baby." you can't help think, "damn."

I'm wondering just when many of those votes were cast, like say, when Cheadle was 1st announced?

Maybe, we should have another poll to see how many people have changed their minds and would like to change their vote accordingly.

I absolutely love the way the recast is addressed meta-theatrically in the Comic Con footage.

Stark: "I didn't expect to see you here."
Rhodes: "It's me, I'm here. Deal with it. Let' s move on."

In just that line delivery, Cheadle exuded more toughness than Howard in all of IM. I definitely think Don's gonna deliver the Rhodey I wanted to see all along.

I'm liking Cheadle more than Howard. If Hank & Janet aren't in 'Avengers' I say War Machine should be in. Iron Man, Cap, Thor, Black Widow & maybe Hulk is a little too small of a team.
