I loved this movie. I haven't seen Director's cut yet

But I really loved theatre version. Script was excellent and had very smart dialogues and aspects

Actors made great job and I also liked twist at the end of movie.

When I saw it first time, I was confused and couldn't understand the whole thing of movie.

After 3 re-views, I had finally understood full idea of this movie.

I also liked storylines, but I will admit, this movie was very difficult for conception.

My final rate was 9 out of 10.

Saw the movie around 3 times. I have to say I cant find a good enough reason to actually like it too much. Not saying its a bad movie. but I hear alot of people saying its a classic, and I cant seem to see why. Maybe I have to sit down and watch it again. Liked the ending though. I would be interested in seeing the DC though.

Donnie Darko is one of my favorite movies of all time. I love it and the soundtrack is really good as well. It's one of those movies people rather like or hate. It's the dialog that makes this movie. I haven't seen the DC of it, because I bought the original release.

Donnie: Do you want your sister to lose weight? Tell her to get off the couch, stop eating twinkies and maybe go out for field hockey. You know what? No one ever knows what they want to be when they grow up. You know it takes a little, little while to find that out, right, Jim? And you... yeah, you. Sick of some jerk shoving your head down the toilet? Well, you know what? Maybe... you should lift some weights, or uh, take a karate lesson and the next time he's tries to do it, you kick him in the balls.

such an amazing movie....i try to get anyone who hasn't seen it to watch it. It definitly is a movie most have to watch atleast twice to really understand it..or atleast come to their own understanding.

I think it is fantastic and great movie, because there are great number of questions after the end of the movie. And you can answer on those psychological and philosophical questions with help of only those answers, which you have aready gotten from other questions.

That is why it is great movie with excellent script.

I understood that it wasn't movie about time machine, it was about alternative version, in which you had some days of life after and before your death.
