He was there as a glowing floating head. It was Dormammu with blue flames. Come on now

Ok let's say you disagree it was Dormammu. Now you did see the Dormammu like face didn't you? Cause no offense but Scott Derrickson was in a AMA on Reddit earlier and EVERYBODY was asking him about Dormammu in the footage. I can understand if you disagree that it's Dormammu himself but come on now.

There are two questions about it, and they aren't even sure of what they saw. It sounds like seeing Venom in Spider-Man's eye.

That's Venom in there.

Ok so we'll have to agree to disagree on what it was then. After all...it's just speculation at this point since no, they never say "It's Dormammu" with a big arrow pointing at it.

But IMO it's 100% Dormammu.

If it's the one I'm thinking about, that shape in no way resembled Dormammu or any recognizable villain of the Marvel Universe.

I'll give you that it was VERY alien looking but IMO, the Dark Dimension talks, the glowing blue energy/flames...IMO there's no way it's anything else but him. Like they had to give him "features" for the general audience.

Well, my friend who has gotta be one of the biggest Doctor Strange fans out there, saw the preview today (wish I was in town to go with) and was blown away. He said he saw a certain someone pop up and I wanted the details and he said he saw Dormammu quickly and was really pleased with how he looked. Said they buttered it up by talking about how there are other dimensions, "including dark ones" and then show the dark dimension, then later on show something that looks like that again but with the big head and Strange confronting it.

I hope that was indeed him, either way I'm stoked from what I've heard.

It was in there. Journalists saw him. Basically everyone who saw it, thinks it's Dormammu. But apparently everyone is a liar.

Key word is "THINKS."

People thought there was something in this lens too.

As for Doc Strange villains, all his infamous baddies are teaming up in the comics just after Strange has lost most of his magic

From how people are describing the creature, it sounds like an interpretation of his original Faltine energy form. However I haven't seen the footage. This form could always meld with a human host to make the more well known matter form of Dormammu.

Could anyone say if it spoke or shown any indication of "human" mocap. Or was it just like a big flaming thing floating there.

Oh no, I'm not asking for an image, just that I haven't seen the preview (no IMAX in my country sadly) so I'm trying to get a better idea of what people saw, seeing as some people are adamant it's one villain or another, but doesn't exactly look as you would expect for any Strange character.

I think the giant-head-thingy was floating... Don't remember the voice. But the face was kinda sliced in the middle. And it kept... flipping on itself? It's hard to describe. The colors were purplish. With glitter. I don't know. I was high. Maybe this thing isn't even in the movie.

Anyway. It didn't look like Dormammu to me.

I hear that! lol The closest Imax to me is 2 hours away, my car can't make that travel. lol
