Hmm, to that end I guess it's understandable but from a design standpoint they should have just given him some duplicate mask from Latveria.

The new mask doesn't really do it for me since the mouth parts are off without the cool "X" grill.

Well the good doctor has had several masks over the years but the classic is great...and I like when he plays around with a different mask here and there....let us see the finished product in the right light and then judge....until then that blurred photo from Smallville should not be the end all of our discussion.

I had my suspisions when Wizard ran that concept design of Doom wearing an Aegis-like chest plate....................

If I hear one more person saying they screwed Doom up because you don't like the costume... Let's all remember Power Ranger Green Goblin! The costume was terrible and yet the character was dead on the money... As long as Dr. Doom is like he is supposed to be then he could be wearing any random metal suit.

I'm sorry man, but I've seen far worse films than Corman's Fantastic Four. Have any of you seen or heard of Pendragon's War of the Worlds that came out in 2005? The only authentic adaptation of the book? By god that has got to be a crime against humanity.

I was hoping for the green and then when Doom goes Cosmic he gets that black.

I said the 94 Doom was 'closest to a faithful visual representation of Doom' i.e, from the source material ak.a the comics.

Hmmmm.........It's a no-brainer, I wouldve thought.

Given the budget - the production couldve made a kick-ass true-to-the -comics translation of the armour.

I hope to god that it's more faithful in the new movie.
