I'm very concerned about Doom tbh. His look in the trailers, from what we've seen of him on the ice vs. Surfer is great but that screencap of him in the ridiculous brown rubbery costume is worrying!

it looks to me that hes wearing practically the same outfit as the first movie in that scene on the ice. maybe a heavier coat this time, but still like a trenchcoat type thing nontheless, you can tell that his arms are covered anyway so its definatly not a cloak. i hate Doom in a coat

Looks modified to be more like the classic look this time or at least that's what I thought Story was aiming for this time around.

I also checked out a Julian McMahon interview at youtube discussing his role of Doom in this movie here.

He says and I quote:

There was a photo released from the new Fantastic Four movie that showed you kind of in regular human form. Is Dr. Doom kind of back to human form or is he metal in the movie. Or what happened? Because last time we saw you your ass was getting shipped back to Latveria?

Julian: "There's 3 kind of specific forms we see him in...we see Dr. Doom where we left him off in the last movie, we see Dr. Doom looking like me, and we see Dr. Doom looking like a new breed of Dr. Doom. The final outfit is out of control."

With the short run time, I hope none of Doom's rebirth as a badass is compromised like the time he is in Latveria or hopefully some of his scenes that add to the redemption of his character.

I liked his costume last time. They could've done better but this is alright. I don't like that little neck thing going on though. I hate the way you can see the rubber or whatever. They should've made the armor cover that.

Even if Doom steals his Silver Surfer's powers how would he know how to use them? Galactus didn't just hand Norrin Radd powers and say find me some planets. He made him one with the power cosmic.
