Between the trailer and the bust they showed at Comic Con, I'm a little.. scared of the creepy grin he's got going on. I don't really remember him having that throughout the series. I just always thought he'd have an emotionless expression.

If he is smiling it's in the wrong places.

You're looking alittle to hard...He seems pretty detached to me... esspecially HERE

Yeah, but that's when Laurie is shouting at him and he's lost.

Anyways, he shouldn't really be grinning when he's killing off people.

Not saying he's enjoying it. He just doesn't look as distant as he does in the GN. People who dont know the GN will think he's evil judging from that trailer-shot. He looks like a kid with ants in the backyard.

Well, maybe not. I just wished he looked a bit more careless in the above shot.

The grin he had in the Vietnam sequence in the teaser was actually the first thing I noticed. He definitely looks like he's enjoying it.

he has a grin while killing people who are trying to kill comedian and other us troops damn him

I love his creepy grin. It makes me laugh on the inside. lol.

See what I mean. That's just wrong, man. Not that this is news or anything. It's pretty obvious.
It's not that Manhattan's evil or careless as such. He's just above and beyond the physical plain, existing on another level detached from humanity and as such doesn't have any interest in people or whether or not they live or die. Thus why should he enjoy the above scene.

Guys...that's just the way Crudup's mouth is shaped. Nothing more.

That's not wrong! I just look at the brighter side of things!

You're right. It's not a big deal. I'm geeking out over an incidental image or two.
I'm sure Zack & co aren't intentionally evilizing the doc.

I like where you are going with this, but if he is detached and has no interest, why would he be enjoying it?

One, it's just how his face is.

Two...it looks cool.so SHH! haha. Just kidding.

I'm with you, the creepy grin is one of the things that really scared me about this movie when I saw the teaser, because now I'm not sure if theyre doing it right

He looks inwardly amused. fine by by me.

I wouldn't have any problem with him looking somewhat creepy either. He should be.
