Why do people said Strange was "comforting" Dormammu? I saw it twice, didn't think he comforted him..did I miss part of the gag?
I loved the "It isn't about you" during Strange and AO's final talk. That character was such a motherly feeling character and that was the most emotional scene in my mind.
The entire end with Dormammu, and specifically the scene when the "loop" gets going.
Loved the zainey music as well.
I really enjoyed the death sequence of The Ancient One. Felt the dialogue and acting by Swinton and Cumberbatch were spot on. The scene wasn't played for laughs and the music simply cuts off. It's probably the only scene I felt gave weight to the characters.
The line were she simply tells him that it's not about him really felt like Strange finally got IT. Great stuff.

That's what we assume. I think they are, but, we haven't heard anything for SURE they were Mindless ones. When the zealots were being assimilated at the end, were they being turned into Mindless Ones?
I don't think the dialogue there was particularly good but you have 2 top tier actors that sold it, especially Tilda Swinton whose lines were a bit cheesy but she's a great actress.I feel like some of the more supposedly emotional moments in the MCU fall a bit flat, whether it's because of how the actors are blocked within the scene, how it's shot or the by-the-numbers aspect of it all (Star Lord seeing his mother in the climax of GoTG, Hank telling the story of Janet to Hope come to mind), but Strange and The Ancient One's final conversation was really deftly handled by Derrickson. Props to Swinton and Cumberbatch for really delivering with those lines as well. When The Ancient One grabbed Strange's hand, it took my breathe away. Such a moving scene, one of the MCU's best.
