Dragon Ball Game Project Age 2011 (working title)

Who knows, if the demand is high enough, maybe females will be an option in the sequel.

That sucks. I was hoping this game would be the ultimate fighter I'd hope it would be.

Well, according to Metacritic it doesn't seem to be all that bad. Not fantastic, but not as terrible as the Gamespot review makes it out to be.

There are 2 positive reviews, 5 mixed and then, well, Gamespot.

Ok, so I risked it and bought the game and I'm heavily disappointed. Yet I actually have fun playing the game. Battles are nothing but quick-time events and the most actual fighting you do, is pressing attack 3 times to perform a 3 hit combo, before the fight transitions into a quick-time event. So everyone literally plays the same. Yet I still enjoy the matches, because the presentation is just ace and the effects are just badass.

The good thing about the game is that I can play with someone who isn't all that great at fighting games, because it boils down to who has the better reflexes and can mash the buttons faster. It's quite hilarious when you have two people smashing buttons like crazy and the fingers are already starting to burn and the loser gets turned into dust.

My recommendation, don't buy it unless it lands in the bargain bin for $10-15 and you have some cash to burn.

Looks like Ultimate Tenkaichi is Spike's last game.
Interesting.
I would like nothing better for the series than CyberConect2 working on a big DBZ game.
Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 is the best anime based game I've played and EVERY character feels different. They're the right team for this kind of stuff.
