Dragonball Script Thread (Contains Spoilers Duh)

I`ve read the script 3 times...If it is real..I think Wong will do a good job fixing the script

Yes, I'm sure wong will do a much better job on it. Hopefully he will expand Krillins part a bit more. I don't want Piccolo to die, he should change that too. Get rid of this school thing. Ok change it all to where it sounds remotley close to our Dragon Ball Z yah know? I'm willing to wait a while till we get it just right and not have other fans say why do people like this? While watching the film. I want the fans in the crowd to be all amazed and applude the movie when they leave and say I am so going to watch the series when I get home

So since I hated Ben Ramsey's script, I thought I should give writing a script a shot. So that's what I'm doing. I'm writing the most fun scenes to write first so I don't get bored. Here's a scene I finished. It's when Lord Piccolo tells Goku he's a saiyan. Very simple, but effective in my opinion. It's not formated correctly, so it looks better in PDF.



INT - TEMPLE OF THE DRAGON - NIGHT



The sky is pitch black. The only clouds in the sky are

directly above this monstrous temple as if a power is

concentrating them to it. Thunder and lightning can be heard

in the distance. Death is in the air.



LORD PICCOLO

You didn't think you were human,

did you?



PICCOLO laughs softly, in a deep and disturbed voice. You

can almost hear decay.



GOKU is shocked. Why wouldn't he be human?



GOKU

What the hell are you talking

about!?



PICCOLO walks slowly up to Goku



LORD PICCOLO

You are a saiyan, Kakarot. I sensed

it the minute I escaped from that

wretched prison. Where do you think

this power you have comes from?

Training? Don't make me laugh. No

amount of training can make a human

as powerful as you...



Piccolo stops walking and is now directly in front of Goku.

Goku is petrified and says nothing. It is as if the devil is

standing next to him.



LORD PICCOLO

Your power...if nurtured...could

rival or even exceed my own.



Goku holds onto his Dragon Ball, tightly squeezing it in his

hand.



LORD PICCOLO

It would be such a waste to stay in

this weak, pathetic planet... never

getting stronger. Never realizing

your potential. It would be the

worst mistake of your life.



Goku's grip on the Dragon Ball loosens gradually.



LORD PICCOLO

Join me, Kakarot. Join me and the

Universe will be ours.



Goku tightens his grip on the Dragon Ball, determined not to let go of it.

My name...is Goku.

I believe so. If not, whomever wrote the screenplay is very good.

But to get back on topic, yes I think the script is definitely Ramsey's. I say so because I have never in my life seen a fan script written so well. Plus it would have taken a lot of work and dedication to pull that from no where.

Let's say it is real. It's obviously something James Wong spat on and threw out if he began writing a new one right away and added *faithful* things like the Mu Fu Ba.

Exactly. The dialogue doesn't read like an amatuer wrote the screenplay. Each character is fleshed out, and I don't know anyone who would write a screenplay and then attach Ben Ramsey's name on the title page and start circulating it. That would involve massive legal authority.

I've posted what I liked about the script. Now here are some footnotes of what i felt was missing.

*Goku's happy go lucky attitude
*Some humor for Goku
*Goku's appetite
*Not enough Chi Chi
*Chi Chi's domineering personality
*Not enough screen time for Piccolo
