Dropikick Murphy and Flogging Molly

Anyone else like these two bands. I'm of Irish heritage and I recently discovered these bands. I have heard that Dropkick Murphy isn't actually from ireland, but I like that they are embracing their heritage. But anyways I was just wondering what other people thought of them, and if there are any other good Irish bands out there.

The Warriors Code is one of my top 5 favorite albums. Not a big fan of Molly though, although I haven't heard much by them.

As for other Irish bands, House of Pain. Not really Irish, but like the Murphys embrace the heritage. And they were one of the best 90's rap groups. Top O' The Mornin' To Ya is a great song.

I have seen them both live, infact Flogging Molly twice

I love both. I have recently been turned on to Flogging Molly and love the songs "Whats Left of the Flag" and "Rebels of the Sacred Heart"

Dropkick Murphys are great live. Barroom Hero is probably my favorite.

Both are a St. Paddys Day staple. I usually dump plenty of the money into the jukebox at the bars since most people dont get into the spirit, just listen to the same crap they normally put on.
