DTL Season 4-Week 1 (Set 1)

what makes superman any less a warrior than captain america though??
just because he isnt designated a warrior or solidier by trade doesnt make him any less noble or worthy...worthyness surely should come from his deeds and actions..not what he does as a job.
If anyone apart from thor and cap should be worthy in comicland of weilding mjolnir..its superman.

Bleh then you might as well say virtually every major hero can wield it:o

Devistating Silences 7/10
Lost Flock 3/10

Chaos & Order 5/10
Justice Knights 4/10

Chaos & Order 4/10
Justice Knights 6/10

and no i wouldnt say every hero could weild it...wolverine couldnt...but there are a few who should be able to like spider-man for example.

Bah too cheap

What makes Wolverine any less worthy than spider-man?

He's frickin Samurai :o

Well, to sort of sidestep the issue (man I'm gonna catch a lot of flak for this), but is Superman (JLA/Avengers) even different enough version to qualify as another version of Supes? I hadn't though about it much before, but really it's just normal Supes with two extra weapons. And not even weapons he would normally have access too. Nor did he use them for more than a couple of minutes. And it appears he was only 'allowed' to use the hammer by Thor's good graces.

Devastating Silence 5
Lost Flock 1

Chaos Order 4
Justice Knight 1

true but i did have him first though...cos i had two superman characters..folk moaned so i picked this one.

Just so you know, we aren't voting for our own matches anymore. So only your votes in the other match will count.

But at least he was sort of honest. Didn't give himself a 10 and me a 1.

My votes are

Devistating Silence 5
Lost Flock 1

Voting is now over.

The final scores are

Devistating Silence 46
Lost Flock 21

Justice Knights 18
Chaos & Order 34

Meh really don't the see point of the score system if we are still recording "wins"

I imagine it will still be used as Total Votes were the previous years (for tie-breaker purposes and such).

So then the points system changes what?

The votes system worked fine:confused:

I think the point system is to reward effort, for the most part. If you lose but your write-up was good, people will award you more points and maybe you won't lose by that much. Small consolation, in my opinion, but I'm pretty much indifferent to either system. They both work out to the same result.

Not necessarily. It is technically possible for someone to lose by points, even though they got more winning scores. It's just hard, and would require some 'suspicious' voting.

You mean we could have our very own Bush/Gore controversy in the li'l ol' DTL? :D

.............you almost got me started on a rant. :hulk:

Good thing you stopped yourself. I don't bother reading anything political. :p

Oh, then you're in luck. It was mathematical! :D
