As much as I'm going to be enjoying that gif for about an hour (who am I kidding, three minutes) Feyd is basically everybody's lie on grindr come to life, so we're looking for one of those like ripped seal-skinned guys for this, beautiful but you want to punch him in the face out of pure survival instinct.

My thoughts exactly. But I otherwise love the cast in general, so I can get past Timothee.

I love the aesthetic so far, too (based on 1 pic, lol). I've seen complaints about the lack of brighter colors, and to me...that's what Dune should look like? It ain't Star Wars.

I’m not sure how Chalamet will be but he has to be better than Kyle McLachlan. I don’t know why but I could never stand that dude. He’ll always be the guy with performance anxiety on Sex and the City. And the D-bag from Showgirls.

Even in the David Lynch movie the sky had the same orange tint as the sand. So I doubt for this movie it's going to look just like an Earth desert.

If a trailer does come tomorrow, the one thing I want to see the most is what the spacing guild will look like in this movie. Also I'm really interested in seeing the depiction of folding space.

I think Arakis is gonna look more visually interesting that a desert planet. They gotta differentiate it seeing as how they've become staples with the sci fi genre, especially since the recent SW movies.

Wasn't expecting to be the resident Chalamet defender on here, haha. Really liked him in everything I've seen him in, and I feel like he has the range for Paul for sure. Definitely a better fit than any other big actor in their 20s right now for the role.

I doubt that there‘ll be a trailer soon, since it’s not sure that the movie keeps its release date this year.
Just pics are fine, I‘ll take everything with pleasure these days.
But I hope Villeneuve will use more colors. The color schemes in BR2049 were what I liked the most about this movie

I don't mind Arrakis to be a rather realistic-looking desert without much stylization. It can be enhanced in different ways - Shai-Hulud, variety of weather, sky color, different time of day...

But what I'd prefer Villeneuve to change - make Fremen a more interesting and elaborate culture. Where it's reflected in their clothes, hairdos and so on. I don't want them to be just a bunch of unshaved people in stillsuits.
