It should be like the Alien box set and have both versions availible, but I guess that'd be to conveinent

Theatrical edition to be released in October with standard special features (such as the HBO making of and whatnot.)

Then, at Christmas, release the extended cut.

In between those two releases we would also see the release of the Superman Returns Xbox 360 game along with the special editions of the Chistopher Reeves movies.

It would be an onslot of Superman merchandising.

They could just have an option where the delted scenes are added to the film. I've got a few dvd's that have done that.

But, Wb will make more money that other way...so....yeah, probably not the way I want.

Theatrical Release
or
Superhero Epic


Like WEDDING CRASHERS had its "Theatrical" or "Uncorked" Editions.

i'm pretty sure it will just be the theatrical release on DVD, but the deleted scenes in the Special Features.
just like most DVD's.

well what version are we getting in the big box set of all the superman movies and supergirl movies that comes out in november?

i know two versions of supes 1 is on there, along with two versions of supes 2 (original version and donners version} supes 3 i think nothing is changed, and supes 4 i herd is the orginal with lots of bounus stuff.

theres an article floating around somewhere not sure where tho.

Make another for the extended cut version.

Also, I think people should know that the "Director's Cut" is the version we got in theaters. Singer chose that cut over the extended cut. So, in the future, when refering to the movie with the deleted scenes added back in, it should be called Extended Cut.
