Superman Returns Dvd Features Here!

I honestly dont know where I'm gonna buy it... I'll be outa town on the 28th, which is a real bummer; I may just preorder everything from Amazon or something.

Which trailer is the theatrical trailer?

And now that I think of it, why can't they give us all three?

Gotta stick us with that video game trailer though. WB is as bad as Lucas.

Yes, but which one was the threatrical trailer?

We got three trailers for the movie, four if you count the international one.

That should be the two disc cover instead of these others ones.

Joel Schumacher has apoligized for the B&R mess many a' times.

Yes, but no matter what your opinion of SR is, its a million times better than B&R.

Oh and i cant wait for this DVD.

Has it been confirmed that there will be a special edition down the line?

I thought he said he wasn't doing an extended cut?

Q: Are you going to do an extended cut?
Singer: No, I don't think I'll do an extended cut. Not at least in the DVD. I've never done that. Those are kind of weird you know. The director's cut. No this is the director's cut. You just saw it. They don't tell me what to cut. I'm not in a place in my career that anyone tells me that I have to cut anything or put anything in.

Well, that answers the question about the extended cut. His answer gave me the impression he believes to be superior to other directors that have released extended cut of classics such as Donner, Spielberg, Lucas, Jackson and Burton.

Thanks, Singer but I'll pass.

Here they are:
Requiem for Krypton: Making Superman Returns
Secret Origins and First Issues: Crystallizing Superman
The Crystal Method: Designing Superman
An Affinity for Beachfront Property: Shooting Superman – Superman on the Farm
An Affinity for Beachfront Property: Shooting Superman – Superman in the City
An Affinity for Beachfront Property: Shooting Superman – Superman in Trouble
The Joy of Lex: Menacing Superman
Wrapping Superman
Deleted Scenes (includes audio introduction from director Bryan Singer)
Teaser Trailer
Theatrical Trailer
Electronic Arts Game Trailer

Man, I hope all of those extras (and hopefully a commentary) makes it onto the R1 edition. We got shafted on the X3 DVD release, and everyone else across the world got the 2-disc edition.

I have them all saved. I just wanted to know which one is being called the theatrical trailer.

They both played both in theaters...as did the teaser.

There is no tin for the Superman Returns DVD. All there is is really bad cover art.

In Australia there are tins. LOL.

If I have the bucks, I'll grab this one instead: http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/790083

13 discs of Superman movies (including Donner's Superman II), and I might actually owned Superman Returns "by accident", which is okay with me, since it's also bundled in this ULTIMATE collection, and I don't think I want to waste my money buying SR DVD (only) at all. :woot:

Yeh, I might get that instead looks cool!

I hope there's a way you can watch the deleted scenes in the movie as they were supposed to be. I know there's a few dvd's I have that let you include the missing scenes with the full length feature.

hmm... I want to see the Krypton sequence.. if they don't make an "extended cut" this time around, it will probably happen by this time next year..

Perhaps...or, if we are unlucky, a month or so before the release of the sequel! That's usually how it goes....remember, X-Men 1.5 came out right before X2 hit the screens...and Spider-Man: The Ultimate Edition came out in the May before the June release of Spider-Man 2....and hell, all of these Super-Christopher Reeve DVDs are coming out now after 30 some-odd years...with re-releases (DVD-wise) it's all about timing with new things being released of the same subject...do you think the Batman special editions would've come out, had Batman Begins never been made? Probably not...
