Superman Returns DVD Release Date Already!!

It looks like the DVD will be released on 11/28. Let's hope they include some worthwhile bonus material and perhaps Warner Brothers can make some money of this film. I would like to see a sequel so I am hoping the movie does well on DVD.

They will probably do the same they did with Batman, will release SR on DVD separately and, on the same date, release the big anthology box with the first four movies. Can´t wait to see a SE of STM and Donner´s cut of II...

I'd love to get my hands on SR. I don't want to D/L because the video is always crappy and I wanna see the Special Features! I hope its packed with all sorts of great stuff. I hope its on 2 or 3 Dvds insead of one disc with 2 sides and a hard plastic case would be nice!

No way! I think its a great time to realease the DVD. They will pull SR from theaters in Oct/ early Nov. SR needs to be out before POTC2 to make some money. If this is true I can say, "all I want for Christmas is a 14 disc Superman Collection!"

They are obviously upset about box office but I am not seeing the connection. Rumors were abound before SR even hit theaters the release date would be in November. Not sure how releasing the date at this time means they are unhappy?

Why would the game be slated for October, coinciding with the DVD, while the DVD is set to release near December?

:: EDIT :: This could be true, though. When you think about it, in order to get a sequel this movie is going to have to crack the 200 million mark, domestically. For that to happen, it's going to have to be in theaters for a while...pushing the release to its DVD back.

I don't see why people see November 28th as an early release date. Most summer blockbusters that come out in late may and june come out about a month before Christmas. If I remember correctly both X-Men's and Spiderman's came out in late november as did Batman Begins. It wouldn't make sense to release it a week before Christmas or after.

I heard x3 is coming out october 3, 2006.

batman begins and the batman boxset was released on october 18th.
