Dynasty Warriors: Gundam

I know, the name makes you go "WTF?". It's the last thing I would expect, but it's for real. You can d/l the demo on PSN at this very moment. I played it, and it plays like Dynasty Warriors but with pilots and gundams from various Gundam Incarnations including Universal Century, G Gundam, Wing etc. A crossover of sorts. From what I played, it doesn't seem too deep, but the 30 minutes I spent on the first level was loads of fun. Comes out August 28th for the PS3 and X360.

Considering this is a port of what WAS going to be a PS2 game, yeah. BUT...with that said....it doesnt look that bad. The Gundam's are very detailed. It plays very smooth. I enjoyed the Demo.

For a PS3 title the graphics aren't really all that impressive. And the gameplay vids also weren't very interesting.

I've played it. The gameplay is just like the other Dynasty Warriors. You can also upgrade your Gundams for better attacks, more combos etc. With the ability to unlock other Gundams as well as 2 different FULL STORY games (One treats the game as a crossover of sorts, brining respective Gundams and their pilots from their original times to one specific time to defend against whatever, and another that takes an alternate look at the Gundams and Pilots and places them all in Universal Century Time Frame/Universe as if they were always apart of that period.) there will be alot of replay value.

I do agree. Or perhaps a Sega assisted Virtua-On type game. Even the faster paced Armored Core 4 type style would be ok.

I'd need more tactics and more dynamic aerial/space combat to feel Gundamy to me, as a Gundam Wing fan... but I could go for a little Mecha Dynasty Warriors action...

Wing Zero and Epyon as far as non unlockables go.

Ass in a can? lol It looks like a fun beat em up. I enjoy the demo. I don't expect this game to be killer or the best game ever, but it will be fun for gundam fans and even dynasty warrior fans. Just don't buy this ass in a can if you don't like it.

Is someone here that can recommened some Gundam games for the PS2? I'm currently playing 'Gundam Vs. Zeta Gundam' and I'm looking into the 'Gundam Seed Destiny' series.

Are there any games based on the Gundam Wing series? Or is there a game that has got the Gundams from the series? Because I really love that one particular Gundam design.

And this is for the PS3? Looks like early Gamecube/Xbox.
