Wait, whats coming by the end of the month? The live news, or the ability to record video on the PS3 and upload it to Youtube? Sounded like he meant both, is that serious? I thought the Youtube stuff would be next year.

Jim Lee did a good job of selling DC Online. He actually got me more interested in it, now if it can just keep good on the pictures he painted.

80GB now $400, not bad at all. Another price drop should get more ppl onboard. However I'm not entirely sold by publishers bragging Sony up. However it's good that they said their just scratching the PS3's surface potential. That's the same thing publishers did with the PS2, games just kept looking better and better. Not counting that they were saying now they understand it better and know which parts of the hardware to push for a better experience.

I hate CG trailers. This MAG one gives you no idea what the actual gameplay will be like.

Mag, wow. 256 players, broken down into squads of 8, further broken down by it keeping track of how you play and making the leader of each squad the one in that squad most qualified. Sounds great, should be hectic with that many players. I just hope the graphics don't suffer for there being that many players on screen. Play an MMO and watch frame rates drop in 40 man raids, can't imagine how their gonna pull off 250 person fire fights coupled with explosions.

I didn't hear them say it wouldn't be BC, might have missed it tho. Not counting there's a rumored firm ware update in the works to correct that for the 20 and 40GB PS3's. To me it sounded like they said, "The 80GB bundles are popular, so we're going to release the 80GB console for $400". Didn't catch them saying what would or wouldn't come with it, let's wait and see if they release anymore info on it first before jumping to conclusions.

Good presentation overall, but not exceptional. About on par with Microsoft.

The thing I liked most about this presser was the PSN games. Microsoft could definately take a lesson from Sony there.

Alright, honestly didn't hear it but I believe ya. I wonder tho if this opens up a 120GB to replace the current 80GB?

Edit - Still tho a 80GB console for the price of the 40GB will do Sony some good, and should help console sales.

Lol, controller malfunction got a few laughs. However the game doesn't look bad. Tho the backgrounds look kinda bland. Still looking forward to a new Oblivion tho.

MAG sounds nice, but all the attempts at MMOFPS in the past, as far as I know, have been mediocre at best.

Now this isn't against MS, as much as this segment with that guy. In fact I think Fable 2 and GOW2 had a good showing. However this current segment has me turning the channel because it just feels so arrogant and full of itself. He has confidence MS will lead and so on, but only has enough confidence to show US numbers. I'm not saying he's wrong in the US as the PS3 numbers he showed had the PS3 at 4.5 mil in the US, and the 360 at 10.3 in the US. However he completely dismissed the Wii, and sales from other countries. Profits are profits doesn't matter where they come from, even if the US has the most sales the Wii wouldn't be leading if other countries didn't matter.

However again that's not a knock on the 360. I just hate when companies brag themselves up and all the while just showing the data that improves their image while ignoring the rest.
