The new 360 is cool. I just wish they could of fit a Blu-ray into it.
The 3DS looked pretty sweet, and I can't help but wonder if my PSP is going to become obsolete pretty soon. The graphics on that thing are easily within the Gamecube quality bracket, and it looks like it's going to have a lot of support. PSP is getting pretty long in the tooth, sadly, and Sony's press conference made this painfully apparent. Their only real announcement for the system was that they had a new ad campaign coming that was a spinoff of the Kevin Butler PS3 commercials. I mean really? Is that the most effort you're going to put into saving the PSP, Sony?
Honestly, iv never had a desire to own any waggle type controller and still dont. With Kinect, im more interested in its non gaming applications.
http://www.giantbomb.com/news/what-zelda-skyward-swords-storyline-is-about/2179/So do we have any news about the story of Z: SS?
Wondering about the premise behind the newly announced Zelda: Skyward Sword? Nintendo wasn't talking about the storyline behind the game during its announcement this morning, but director Eiji Aonuma held forth about it during a roundtable after the show today. Shockingly, this time around there's more going on than "Ganon kidnapped Zelda and hey maybe you should go save her or something."
In Skyward Sword, Link is a boy born in a floating land among the clouds called Skyloft. Some sort of incident early in the game interrupts Link's placid existence and makes him aware of a land that exists beneath the clouds, one that's pervaded by danger and evil. Link naturally becomes too curious to resist traveling to this lower world, and it sounds like you'll be traveling back and forth between Skyloft and the land below (Hyrule?) throughout the game. The eponymous Skyward Sword is the tool you'll use to do that.
How about that piece of art that surfaced at E3 last year, depicting a spritely young girl bearing the seal of the Master Sword? Quoth Aonuma: "I'll just tell you straight out, the Skyward Sword becomes the Master Sword." I'm pretty sure it's not a spoiler if the game's director says it on the day the game is announced, right?

One game I was really surprised with was Kirby Epic Yarn. Really dumb name but the art direction in the game looks absolutely beautiful not too mention the gameplay looks like it'll be a blast to play.
CASTLE IN THE SKY - In a first for the franchise, Link isn't raised in a village. At least, not one on the ground. He's instead from the land of Skyloft, a floating island in the sky. Link only "discovers" the land below later in life, and finds it overrun by evil. He thus spends the game going between his home in the clouds and the land below (hence the "cloud jump" in the game's trailer).
HUD-BE-GONE - The game's art style may look yummy, but that HUD looks yucky. Thankfully, Aonuma tells us that in the final retail version we'll be able to switch it off.
NEW MAPS - Acknowledging that previous maps in the Zelda series haven't been all they could be, series director Aonuma promises that Skyward's will be easier to follow, and won't leave you as lost as those in other Zelda games.
DOUBLE CONTROL - Similar to Red Steel 2, Skyward will use both the MotionPlus and Wii sensor bar to track your movements, meaning that even if you point the Remote away from the screen, the game will still know where you are.
BOOMING SOUNDTRACK - Mario Galaxy 2 had a big, thunderous orchestral soundtrack. Will Skyward follow suit? Miyamoto says Nintendo couldn't do what it did with Galaxy 2 and not do the same with the next Zelda, which we'll take as a "yes".
2011 - This game won't make 2010, as Miyamoto and Aonuma want to give the development team the rest of the year to complete the game and make sure it's in tip-top shape.
