Yah, never know. I mean remakes, people hate the ideas but some times they say its even better than the orginal. Not that this is a remake of any thing but it does look good.

People probaly won't be seeing till later in the after noone, that's when people get off of work and school ^^
I'll be seeing it later in the after noone myself.

Yeah, going this evening with the GF, after work.

She can oogle over Shia, and I get Michelle and Rosario!!! :wow:

Saw some articles this AM, while looking for tix on-line, which had BO projections in the high 20 - low 30 mil mark...

That sure would be something!!!

27% at ol' Rotten Tomatoes. The critics are really raggin' it too. Looks like another stinker for Shia.

78% Surf's Up
57% Transformers
75% A Guide to Recognizing your Saints

Hardly stinkers.

Eagle Eye 25%

Transformers 57%

Bobby 45%

Constantine 46%

The Battle of Shaker Heights 44%

Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd 10%

I liked Transformers as did many others judging by it's BO

He hardly is the reason why

Bobby
Constatine
and Dumb and Dumberer

were rated so low. Battle of Shaker Heights was directed by the guy that won the Project Greenlight contest...

I work at a movie theater, so I've watched, roughly, 80% of every.single. wide release film ever released since 2006. I've also been tracking their scores on RT.

Personally, I've come to a conclusion and correlation with RT's scores and made my personal gauge:

Less than 25% = Skip the movie
25-40% = Worth watching once
40%-60% = Probably Very Decent
60%-80% = Very Good Movie, Keep Expectations Low
80%+ = Must See

So, if the movie had a RT rating higher than 25%, then I've probably seen it. :p

Heh, I've also seen a few that were even lower.

He's hardly the reason Indy was rated high. So it averages out to a big 50%.

All praise mediocrity!!!

Tonight, I'm going to see Ghost Town, Eagle Eye, The Lucky Ones, and Miracle at St. Anna...All in a row!

Wish me luck... :(

I don't need reviews to convince me not to see it. It looks like tripe and it came out today, in September. The waste land of boxoffice months.

In these so-called thrillers the movie's always start out decent enough but then they go down hill and feature horrible third acts.

Shia has been playing in nothing but lame to bad movies and this one doesn't look any different. Then again I don't like him so...nah thats not true, I can rate movies fairly even if I don't like the lead.

I'm seeing this later tonight with my older Brother and Mom. It's been years since we've done a "family" event, ha.

Just saw it. You can't get any more mediocre then this. Monaghan was the only bright spot. 5/10
