    Well that's the impression I get from the trailers.

    Petersen hasn't made a real quality movie since In The Line of Fire.

    Nope. Lucas lives and Kurt Russell dies. Pretty much everyone from the main group lives.

    I still subscribe to that theory

    Poseidon seems to have a lot going against it from minimal marketing and lacklustre interest and now negative reviews

    Saw it last night and enjoyed it. There's no story and the acting is not first rate, so of course the critics will hate it. But it's an intense ride like Twister etc. Definitely not for kiddies and claustrophobic people.

    I wish only hits for Kurt Russel because he is one of the coolest guys on Earth. This was especially confirmed when I heard him talk about how he loves Led Zeppelin. :up:
    Everything I've seen makes the movie look like a made-for-TV movie though.

    Oddly enough, just a few months ago there was a made for tv Poseidon Adventure remake.

    Nice to know Kurt's a Zeppelin fan.

    WOW! Honestly I knew that Posseidon will not be so good as movie and in box ofice, but...

    It looks like this movie will be really bad and will get bad WOM. Now I think it will not get even $130m.

    According to two reviews at RT, it's subtly racist as far as who lives and dies. Though any horror movie over the past 30 some odd years could be blamed for the same thing. :o
