Yeah and I'm not even trying to bash the main WWE product. I mean Summerslam was fantastic. It's just that the NXT roster has really shined in these shows and NoC is a filler PPV.

So has there been any clue as to when Devitt, KENTA or Steen are going to start making NXT appearances? I'm highly curious to see these guys in action.

Likely sometime after NXT Takeover 2

I'm hoping that we see Sami Zayn win the title at Takeover 2, only for Kevin Steen to ruin the celebration by making a surprise run-in debut appearance and lay him out.

Pipe dream I'm sure, but that would be a hell of a way to make an immediate impact.

Yeah they usually have to spend time building a rapport with fans at house shows before debuting

Question #1: Do any of you JCP fans still wonder and think about how far Magnum T.A could have taken the ball as the face of JCP had he not gotten injured?
Crockett, Rhodes etc all think that he would have been their answer to Hogan and Dusty is convinced that he would have transcended the business in a similar way to The Rock. It's a shame we'll never get to know that.

Question #2: Bischoff Era fans, Do any of you guys ever wish that the NWO storyline would have ended or been the beginning of the end at Starrcade 1997 and WCW would have then went on to build up guys like Eddie, Jericho, Booker T, Raven etc while still utilizing guys like Bret Hart?

Imagine what a feud between Bret Hart and Chris Jericho could have been like on the mic and in the ring for instance. We never got that due to over reliance on the NWO amongst other things

1. Magnum T.A. would have been huge. If it's to that level I'm not sure. But he definitely would have taken Sting's spot though as the top face in that era.

I don't think that's necessarily the reason they hold new signings off TV tapings. The fans who show up to Full Sail are pretty much a hardcore base, and I think a guy like Steen would be recognized immediately and they'd pop huge.

If anything, I'd say they hold guys off TV because they want the talent to adjust to WWE's style before being added to TV (especially now with NXT being a Network show). In Chris Hero's shoot after being released, he said that the main thing for indy veterans is that they teach you Vince's pet peeves and to avoid things like that.

The only one that I can remember specifically - Hero said that if someone has you in the corner or on the ground and are throwing punches, you better cover up your face. Which isn't a terrible rule since it's a realism thing... if you were in a fight and someone was throwing bombs, wouldn't you protect yourself?

After hearing that, now it bothers me to no end when guys do the mounted punches and the person receiving them barely puts up a fight once they start going. Damn you Vince!

Solid episode of NXT tonight with build up and good wrestling. Something tells me Sami Zayn is winning that title and I really hope he does after all the times he's played "Valiant loser" for others.

WWE Hall of Famer Jake “the Snake” Roberts is currently unconscious in a hospital in Las Vegas, according to reports. Roberts flew to Vegas yesterday for an event but passed out on the plane. He has been unconscious since.

An ambulance took Roberts from the plane to a nearby hospital. Giri adds that Jake reportedly has double pneumonia. Doctors have said that his lungs are filled with fluid and there is a mass on his brain.

With all the junk this guy put into his body for so long I'm surprised he's still alive. Jake is still one of my favorites. His promos were so different and awesome. I truly hope he gets better.
