That's how I would book it. Maybe it's just me, but Bryan going into Mania as champ would not feel as special as him winning the belt at Mania.

I agree. I mean it's mostly been a long term/traditional thing to have the "face" chasing after the title when going into Mania as opposed to defending it unless it were a case where both wrestlers were portrayed as faces (e.g. Austin and Rock for Mania 17, Cena and HBK for Mania 23, or even Hogan vs Warrior)

It would just feel more special if Bryan's moment of conquering the mountain came at the grandest stage of them all.

And if the WWE aren't any more stupid, then they won't strip Bryan of the belt the very next day like before, otherwise no one is going to want to watch any re-airings of this year's mania after that night.

If the WWE does actually sign Sting and he actually shows up in a WWE ring (which I don't see happening until after the Elimination Chamber if it does come true) that throws a monkey wrench into the rumored Wrestlemania 30 card that is reportedly "set in stone."

I was initially upset with that rumored card, but then I said "wait, what if they actually sign Sting?"

So I just came home late and skimmed through Raw, catching a few segments here and there. So how's everyone feeling about tonight's show? To me it seemed clear that they learned their lesson from last night, and even if things don't change regarding the WM card, they are at least acknowledging that the fans were upset.

Bingo. I just don't see Bryan's chase concluding on a throwaway PPV like Elimination Chamber.

I've only gotten to see a few minutes of wrestling in the last 24 hours, but the crowd at RR just took a dump on Batista at the end. I don't think 'Tista flipping off the crowd at the end was just for the show, either. He looked perplexed and disgusted.

Bray Wyatt is more impressive every time I see him. He's really explosive and strong. I hope he doesn't accidentally hurt someone with Sister Abagail (sp?) some day.

At least WWE had the good sense to end RAW with Bryan in the center of the ring.

Savage SHOULD headline, but I really don't see WWE allowing a dead wrestler to headline one of their key events. Whenever Savage goes in, there'll be another big name who can close the night with an acceptance speech, as opposed to Poffo speaking on his brother's behalf.
