If the WWE does actually sign Sting and he actually shows up in a WWE ring (which I don't see happening until after the Elimination Chamber if it does come true) that throws a monkey wrench into the rumored Wrestlemania 30 card that is reportedly "set in stone."

I was initially upset with that rumored card, but then I said "wait, what if they actually sign Sting?"

If they sign Sting I think that will definitely change the direction of the card. Of course it all depends on how good of shape Sting can get himself into over the next two months as I'm sure he will no doubt want to have the best possible match and appearance he can in his debut, especially if it's against Taker.

I never really believe the Sting/WWE rumors, but given Jeff Jarrett's recent tweet about Sting, I have a feeling he is finally done with TNA and going to go for that big WWE payday.

Sting signing with WWE would certainly re-spark my interest in the product.

I think The Wyatts vs the shield would have been an awesome match for Wrestlemania. What about that rumor that the ic and us titles were gonna be unified at Elimination Chamber?

There were rumors last night about an hour before the Royal Rumble that he had agreed to terms and that he would start his WWE run officially at Wrestlemania 30 and end it at Wrestlemania 31 that would include a Hall of Fame induction.

I am pinpointing to the Raw after Elimination Chamber.

WWE will pull out all the stops the night after EC when the network launches. If sting signs, I can imagine the night starting with Hulk Hogan and ending with Sting's debut.

I think that is a good bet. It would give Sting a good month to get in a little better shape for his first appearance (I'm sure potbelly Sting from a couple of weeks ago does not want to be seen in front of a WWE audience) and another month to work out while he prepares for Mania.

I can see Sting having a couple of matches with Taker and perhaps working a big tag match with Cena, who is said to have been a huge Sting mark growing up. It wouldn't shock me to see him work with Orton, who Sting has praised, and against HHH, who is really the only other big star of the Monday night War era still around.

So question time....

If Sting signs, how would you have him debut? Who would you have him wrestle during his time with WWE?

If Sting signs, have him wrestle Triple H.

Punk can wrestle Sheamus while Bryan can do something better.

How does he debut? A fake out. Wyatts are beating up Cena, lights go out everyone expects Taker, they go back up Sting is standing in front of the family with a Bat pointed their way.

If Taker/Brock is set, then Sting's best possible opponent is Orton. This Line up for Mania would be a welcome sight.

Bryan vs. Batista- title match
Taker vs. Brock-Streak match
Triple H vs. Punk
Sting vs. Orton- The Legend Killer returns
Cena w/ Hogan in his corner vs. Bray Wyatt

Ugh, Cena/Bray is bad enough and Hogan being in his corner? No thanks....

I'd say screw it and have him face Taker first, but have it end in a double count out or dq via interference. That way, the streak continues and Sting can say he didn't lose to Undertaker.

As far as his debut leading to that match, I'd have Taker advertised to return on Raw, the monday following EC, and have him challenge Sting, or have Sting challenge him.

Maybe have some vignettes aimed at Taker air in the weeks leading up to WrestleMania, with the final one revealing that its Sting who is putting out the challenge. And then, have him appear for the first time at Mania itself.

Alternative to Taker, I'd say Orton. Have him revisit his legend killer gimmick and have Sting challenge him.

Other than that, I'd like to see him face Triple H (preferably at Summerslam, or The Great American Bash when it returns this year), Bray Wyatt, CM Punk, Christian, and Daniel Bryan.

I don't expect all of these to happen, but they are definitely some of the best options.

Some others that could happen is Sting vs. Lesnar, Batista, or Big Show, but I don''t know how good those would be.

I think it's the best possible way to use Hogan at the event.

There's huge story potential in a feud between those two, I'll say that much. If Bray rises to the occasion like he did against Bryan last night then it could be great.

It will be book like every other generic Cena story before it. Only good I see coming out of it is Bray winning, which I somehow don't see happening.

Summer Rae is replacing Jojo on Total Divas.

Maybe they'll pull the trigger on her and start building her up as a credible diva heel now?

Then again, who Am I kidding, there's no way they'll do that. :lmao:

If it's me and I have Sting for one year, WM30 to WM31 The five matches I think should happen and are most marketable

1.Orton(WM30)
2.Undertaker(WM31)
3.Triple H(Summerslam)
4.Cena(Survivor Series)
5. Punk( Pick any secondary PPV that can use a boost.)

edit; Also I don't doubt Sting will get a transitional champion title reign. I expect a month to 2 month reign, perhaps in the fall.

We said that about Cena and his supersquad jobbing to The Shield last year and look how that turned out.

What did Jarrett tweet about Sting?

Oh, and is Brock in the EC match?

Another question. Do you think if Sting signs with WWE, he should win the WWE title at some point?

I say it would be a nice gesture to Sting, and if it were to happen it should be over Orton, who could play the perfect heel the fans hate and is established enough not to lose anything by it.
