They should try and get Heyman to talk to him, if there's anyone who can get through to him, it's Heyman, imo.

Why should anyone talk him back into coming? It seems he's just going to be miserable anyway. Maybe this'll be a wake up call for WWE. Doubtful, but it's possible.

Don't know how credible it is, but if true, is understandable...

If this is true, it sounds like what happened at the Rumble caused WWE to want to give Bryan a bigger match at WrestleMania than Shemaus but they still didn't want to put him in the main event and Punk was paranoid they were going to shove him even further down the card as a result. I can't blame him in that case.

I think it would be fantastic if WWE stars that have been getting screwed or buried all went on strike and walked away to prove a point. They just don't show up for a house show or better yet live Raw or Smackdown.

Probably a lot of them need their jobs and can't get work elsewhere.

I'm not getting the network until after WM, most likely. My friend will be getting it before then, so I will watch WM at his house, but they won't get my money until after I know what's up.

I'm not saying he should, I'm just saying that if someone is needed to get through to him, seeing as he's likely shutting himself off from everything, for the time being at least, then Heyman is likely to be one of, if not the only person who can get through to him. That doesn't necessarily mean getting through to him to get him to come back to the E, but getting through to him in general.

If this isn't a work to put over a Punk vs. The Authority angle over, than WWE has really made a massive ****storm for themselves here.

And WWE has people so damn brainwashed right now that their apologists are mad at Punk because he was "being selfish" by leaving his fans and the WWE.

I dont remember anyone saying those kind of things in ANY OTHER ERA of wrestling besides this era of sheep that either attack fans/wrestlers for expressing displeasure with something or expect the wrestlers to sit and grit their teeth when the top brass stroke their own egos.

What the hell has happened to make people praise blind loyalty?

I know people are pissed at Vince and current WWE as I am too,But I'm not exactly sure why many of you want to boycott the network,I mean the wwe network will mostly be about the past and the current product like the ppvs will be included in the $10 package per month.

Yeah we would be giving them our money but wouldn't we be getting it for the archives?,IF you're quitting WWE including the network even though it's main interesting offer is wrestling history..that must mean you're boycotting other merchandise like dvd's and video games right?

- It’s worth noting that Seattle was not the original site for the May 4th WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view. WWE changing it to Seattle could be a sign that they are going to build the show around Daniel Bryan some how. That decision was made two weeks ago.

- As of this past weekend, the plan is for Hulk Hogan to be the host of WrestleMania XXX. Right now Hogan isn’t scheduled to do anything physical and the story is he won’t be allowed to do so based on his physical.

- Daily Sports in Japan reports that WWE has offered a contract to Pro Wrestling Noah star KENTA and that Noah will be doing a farewell show for him but that’s likely a premature report. We noted before that KENTA was at the WWE Performance Center for a tryout this week.

- WWE will continue to work with Hulu Plus to stream RAW, Main Event and SmackDown even though they will offer the same service with the WWE Network.

- Ric Flair may be under contract with WWE because he was in talks with an independent wrestling promoter to work their events and told them he would have to get it approved by WWE.

- Batista’s current WWE contract is indeed for two years and has him working a full schedule but not for the entire two years of the deal. Batista has commitments to promote certain movie projects that will require him to be away at times.

- WWE has been working on concepts for Sting t-shirts pushing the theme of calling him “A Man Called Sting” since WCW trademarked the phrase and WWE owns the intellectual property rights to it. A memo came in to WWE’s merchandise department last week to start working on the ideas for Sting.

Regarding Sting signing a deal, as of Monday the word is that he has not signed but is very close. Another source noted that internally, the idea of Sting coming in has not been talked about as a high priority issue compared to deals to get names like Hulk Hogan, Brock Lesnar, Batista or The Rock.

well, I think, lack of any real competition plays a role in that.

for many people, WWE is the only wrestling they know and watch.

Back in the Monday Night War days, we could all protest WWE by watching WCW. We can't really do that now.

I'm debating on waiting after Mania to subscribe. I don't want give my money towards the show if it isn't going to pan out into a show I want to see. They're hyping Mania as the first live PPV as part of the Network.

And if that doesn't work, he can always go to ROH and wrestle Roderick Strong!!!

:oldrazz:

Hogan as WM30's host is a perfect role for him,no need to wrestle or even get physical!!

Wasn't"The Franchise"also one of Sting's nick names?,or was that just Shane Douglas?,I never really liked"A man"called Sting but rather"This is"

Because that is not...how a WWE employee behaves...UNDER MY WATCH! PUNK! You think you can walk out...and disrespect us? DISRESPECT US!

Wasn't"The Franchise"also one of Sting's nick names?,

He was called The Franchise Of WCW. Not sure when they started calling him that. Not sure when Douglas first took the name either.

But does Mania really need a host? Oh god, I could see WM30 turning into a bad Variety Hour ala WM27.

They toyed around with calling Sting the Franchise in mid 99, but I don't think it really stuck. Then Douglas came in around the end of summer.

I suppose the only deal that would make Punk stay would a lighter schedule plus a degree of creative control, and maybe a seat on the booking team.

I don't think a host for it is a bad idea and I feel Hulkster may still be more entertaining than the Rock in some aspects

Plus me and DrEvil would get our mark out moment wish

Hulk hosting is perfect for him. That one was a no brainer.

I hope Hogan doesn't suck up as much airtime as Rock did as the host of WrestleMania 27. Outside of Undertaker/HHH, that Mania was like an episode of RAW.

well, without Punk, wrestling's going to be far less interesting to watch, for me at least.

he and Bryan have been pretty much the only reason why I tune into RAW.

Now, with The Shield, Ziggler, Bryan and others in the fold that are getting over, I hope WWE takes this as a wake up call to give us a changing of the guard. The Changing of the guard the audience has been asking for for quite some time.

Some people are actually dumb enough to DEFEND part timers taking spots from these performers because they feel these part timers should have their moment because their time is running out and the younger talent can go for years. Is disgusting how sheepish people can become to Vince Mcmahon's BS way of thinking. They dont realize that it sends the wrong message to all the people busting their ass in the back.

Do they not remember how dumb it was for Hogan to take Bret's spot at Wrestlemania 9?

I guess I'm a sheep since I still mark for Brock and NAO and would for Sting having a one year run :(
