Honestly, the WWE could be hated by everyone but as long as they're not being charged for steroids, involved in a murder case, or where their profits don't take a huge nose dive, then they won't do anything about it.

I don't blame Punk for being upset. It's pretty crazy he just walked out and didn't finish his contract out... But I guess he really wants to make a point. Batista has definitely been bad for business. He can't be a face at this point... That promo he cut last Raw wasn't face at all. The tone he had when he said he was going to beat anyone, then he lists off a bunch of stars, but when he says Daniel Bryan he sounded so disgusted/irritated...

Does WWE even realize how much of a bomb face-Batista has been?

I would have loved for WM 30 Main Event to have been John Cena vs CM Punk. They always put on the best matches together. It could have been up their with The Rock vs Austin WM matches... Shame.

They should have just brought back heel, *****e Batista. Have HHH and Steph hype him up as an old friend and how he's a big/mega movie star now.

Have Batista talk himself up like he's a big shot movie star ( he's more popular/famous than the Rock ). maybe even brag about his MMA prowess ( he's better than Lesnar ).

IOW.....play off the cronyism and nepotism and make Batista a real arrogant *****e.

Then on last Mon RAW, have Orton actually be thrilled to defend against Batista instead of Bryan or Cena or Sheamus.

to show they are keeping it "in the family" amongst the Authority.

On every new Facebook status WWE makes, it gets bombarded by comments about CM Punk! X D

It's going to be weird without Punk around on WWE TV for a while,He's been with the company for years and only been gone for months at a time due to injuries and even when he technically left the company after his pipe bomb and left Chicago as wwe champion it only lasted for about a month.

He's been a top mid carder and has main evented for a while,His promos/segments/matches/entrance theme/storylines and merchandise will be missed,Will suck If he's not a playable character in wwe2k15 after being in the franchise for years and even being the cover&menu boy for WWE'13

Batista was acting pretty heelish and *****e this past Monday anyway, so they already seem to be heading in that direction.

Fools there still do about the Attitude Era/Goldberg and Jeff Hardy,This will last on their social media stuff including YouTube comments for a LONG time!

If the fans hijacked the show over Daniel Bryan not being in the Royal Rumble, I can absolutely see them doing We Want Punk type chants for months.

I hope it reaches ''we want Flair'' level.

I just started posting on PW.com for the first time in like 2 years, and I saw Slushy over there being hilarious. :funny:

With Punk gone Vince should be treating Daniel like more royalty than the King of Kings,Imagine how the WWE Universe would react IF Daniel walks out on the company like Punk,They better pray he never gets a major injury where he needs to be out of action for months

- PWInsider reports that WWE sources indicate CM Punk quitting WWE had nothing to do with Batista personally and it wasn't Batista that caused the decision. It was more a collection of issues including being burnt out, injuries, a difference in what WWE saw as a big push for Punk and what he felt was one, specifically facing Triple H at WrestleMania XXX.

- WrestlingINC.com reports that one of their readers attended CM Punk's Wizard World Q&A in Portland, Oregon this past weekend and said he doesn't think Sting should come to WWE because he doesn't have anything left in the tank and would again take away from the younger Superstars. Punk called Batista a friend but said he didn't feel the time was right for Batista to return because it was so unfair to take away from the other wrestlers who work hard everyday.

Punk said he's been frustrated with WWE's direction and feels the writers aren't in touch with what fans want. He's good money-wise and hasn't really spent much money so he's not worried about receiving a paycheck.

Punk said he's interested in UFC if his body can handle it but right now he doesn't think his body is in any shape for it. He said he's been really sick, especially September through November of last year. He's had weekly MRI's and blood work done but doctors can't figure out what's wrong. He started eating meat again and is starting to feel better but isn't close to 100%.

Casey Kulas, who works for ESPN Cleveland and The Q, contacted WZ earlier today and claimed he was in attendance at Raw this Monday night and overheard a backstage argument involving CM Punk, AJ Lee, Paul Heyman, and WWE officials.

Kulas claims the argument was over the subject of Punk possibly sustaining a concussion, and Punk responded to officials by saying “I’ve passed all your f***ing concussion tests” and “I’m not going out there and telling the fans this ****. I’ve been doing this too f***ing long.”

WZ reached out to a WWE source close to the situation, and the source claimed none of this is true.

Punk WWE Documentary Pulled from Netflix

Several readers have sent in word that the WWE-released "Best in the World" CM Punk documentary disappeared from Netflix today. While it cannot be confirmed that the disappearance of the release from Netflix is a WWE reaction to Punk quitting the company, the timing is certainly interesting, coupled with the fact that the WWE Twitter account unfollowed Punk today.

I have a feeling this is gonna get a lot worse between the 2 parties.

the difference between Sting and Batista is that Sting most likely won't have much of an active role, in terms of matches.

and if Punk is indeed gone, how would the WWE explain it kayfabe wise?

I dont even think they will mention him, they will just get John Cena or HHH to say ''a certain someone took his ball and went home''

A lot of WWE-related documentaries have been pulled from Netflix lately, due to the launch of the Network coming, but it is interesting Punk's the latest to be removed....

If a WrestleMania match against Triple H was good enough for Brock Lesnar, I don't see why it wasn't good enough for CM Punk. The Authority are corporate suit and tie wearing heels and Punk made himself into a mega star by being anti-authority/anti-corporate with that Pipebomb he dropped. It's a match that makes perfect sense.

seems like they'd need to do more than that..........

I heard it was removed weeks before all this.

Punk's documentary was already off Netflix. I know because I was looking for it last week. They removed several other documentaries as well, so it's not related to this.

The twitter removal is something else though.

maybe, as another poster said, HHH was unwilling to put Punk over.
