If a WrestleMania match against Triple H was good enough for Brock Lesnar, I don't see why it wasn't good enough for CM Punk. The Authority are corporate suit and tie wearing heels and Punk made himself into a mega star by being anti-authority/anti-corporate with that Pipebomb he dropped. It's a match that makes perfect sense.
I think they've just jerked around Punk too long. I remember reading that he was also told he'd be ending the streak, just to have it pulled away.

Once he rests up, I think he would make a fine addition for New Japan if he wants to go that route.

Austin needs to get CM Punk on his podcast.

I agree, it's a great match up and really the only feud I was looking forward to. But who knows how CM Punk saw it. He had already had a non-headlining WWE Championship bout, and he wrestled the Undertaker for the Streak. Maybe he figured after doing that, the only left to do was headline Mania and facing Triple H felt like a step down. I kind of wonder he was told he's going to put Triple H over at Wrestlemania.

Or maybe after seeing Batista actually win the Rumble over Daniel Bryan did him in.

My goodness, when did they put this up?

calling it now watch aj get humiliated by a bella in a blink and you'll miss it match

Punk's documentary was already off Netflix. I know because I was looking for it last week. They removed several other documentaries as well, so it's not related to this.

The twitter removal is something else though.
Yep. I noticed it a while back. More and more have been pulled over the last few months.

I just started posting on PW.com for the first time in like 2 years, and I saw Slushy over there being hilarious.
Which part? I'm a roll today. :oldrazz:

PWInsider reports that WWE sources indicate CM Punk quitting WWE had nothing to do with Batista personally and it wasn't Batista that caused the decision. It was more a collection of issues including being burnt out, injuries, a difference in what WWE saw as a big push for Punk and what he felt was one, specifically facing Triple H at WrestleMania XXX.

LOL, that's a lie. Batista's return changed everything.

Wouldve made more sense to have Punk face Triple H at mania two years ago.

I can easily see the WWE screwing up promotion for Guardians of the Galaxy big time.

And then word will hit the media that she's Punk's girlfriend, and they catch on to why this is happening to her. More bad publicity. I hope they don't something that not only is childish, but they makes him look like masochists.

Vince is a petty child so I can see him doing something like that to AJ.

Batista's return isn't the problem. The booking is. He didn't have to win the Rumble. He doesn't have to be in the main event of WM.

New Age Outlaws win gold. Batista wins Rumble. It helps to have your buddy run the company.

Nooo Punk. :csad:

I really, really hope it's a work. Punk is the whole reason I started watching Wrestling again, and if this is all for real then I guess I'm done too. There are of course other guys I really enjoy watching, but if Punk thinks the situation is bad enough that he needs to walk out, then that's got to be some kind of indication of how ****** things are in general.

I stopped watching WWE late last summer because I felt like all my favorite wrestlers' angles weren't progressing much, if at all. I started watching again a couple of weeks ago for the "Road to Wrestlemania", but I guess things haven't changed too much. I'll give WWE until Wrestlemania, but if things haven't improved by then, then I'm out for the foreseeable future.

Punk should go to the UFC, all he'd need to do is win a few fights. Then He'll get the "part timer" wrestlemania main event spot.

Which is pretty amusing when you consider the shoot the two did on him where they ripped him to shreds a couple of years back.

Yeah, that would have been fine and all if the notorious pipe bomb wasn't over 2 1/2 years ago. The fact is CM Punk is arguably the best wrestler on the roster and he's been getting the short end of the stick for a while. Add on to the fact that if there was anyone who'd be the most angry at the nepotism shown to Batista, it'd be him as well as Bryan. That was the straw that broke the camel's back.

of course it would but come one this is the same company that made eddie guerrero widow into a horny cougar who's main points were her weight.
had a man hump a sex doll in a coffin.
exploited many a death of wrestlers,
had terrorists attack a match and much more

you really think they give a damn about press of screwing over a mans girl

It WWE management aka Vince, Steph, Hunter, would rather stick to their narrow minded ways rather than give fans who are their bread and butter what they truly want. We have talented guys like Ziggler, Big E, Miz, Kofi, Cesaro, who get buried and never get proper push they deserve. Then guys like Punk and Bryan work their butts off and are super over with the fans but get screwed at the Rumble. Bryan is extremely over and still isn't in line to hold the title instead at WM 30 he set to face sheamus..... WHY!

Nobody wants that crappy main event planned which is Batista VS Orton which we all have seen many times before in the past. Plus these guys act like total turds. Batista getting into verbal fights with fans and flicking everyone off at the end of the Rumble match while mocking the D Bryan Yes chant. Then Orton was pissy because the crowd booed and chanted this is awful during is lame match with Cena at the Rumble.

Now the strong rumor the CM Punk has walked away from the company because he was displeased with the route the company is taking. If he has indeed calked the quits that's a big blow to WWE for many. The only reasoni would watch is for Daniel Bryan and a few other guys to see if they get pushed and to watch some divas.

Exactly. Also, many assume that Punk having to put Haitch over to prolong the storyline was probably a big deal as well. Of course, we don't know for sure but one can assume that since Punk's been a team player.

In 2010, my favorite wrestler Shawn Michaels retired and I was blown. He was the key reason I was watching WWE and wrestling as a whole. Then in the summer, the Nexus angle kicked off and it had me hooked...until they blew it. Then they brought Daniel Bryan back in. Dolph Ziggler was getting some spotlight. These were the guys that were keeping me in the game but the product was still weak.

Then in early 2011, CM Punk attacked John Cena and they started a mini-feud that ended up going nowhere. Punk brought me back in the game. I had been a fan of his since his debut and checked his ROH work afterwards. Rock came back. Wrestlemania ws a wash, and product stinks up the joint so much. Once I heard CM Punk was going to leave after his contract ended.

Then out of nowhere...the PIPEBOMB. CM Punk cut a scathing promo that I couldn't tell if it was a work or shoot. It was killer and red hot, and for the first time in years, I couldn't wait until the next RAW to see what happened. In 5 minutes, CM Punk reignited my passion for wrestling. The next three months were excellent, and the company seem to have gotten their stuff together. At the top of that was the fantastic Punk/Cena feud, the modern day Hogan/Savage or Austin/Rock depending on your preference.

Triple H gets inserted, the angle becomes about him and takes away some of Punk's heat and he isn't as hot as he was before. But Punk was so awesome I was hanging with him anyway. He won the belt and had year long reign. After Mania 2013, Punk went on break, but Daniel Bryan and Kane were tearing it up. A few months later, Punk returned, Mark Henry attacked John Cena. We head into Summerslam. CM Punk faces Brock Lesnar. Daniel Bryan faces John Cena. It was awesome, and I had goosebumps after the show was over. I figured the Authority angle would lead somewhere and push Bryan to the mountain, and that Punk and Heyman would continue their entertaining feud.

What happened? Daniel Bryan keeps getting denied the belt. The company shuffled him away from the main-event scene. CM Punk's feud with Heyman had him wrestling two of the most boring guys ever. Suddenly, CM Punk started feuding with the Authority and I figured that would lead to the inevitable fiery feud with Triple H. Daniel Bryan turned on the Wyatts and returned to being the hottest face in the company.

And now I'm...eh.

I can't get into anything else right now wrestling wise. TNA is circling the drain. Outside of Jay Briscoe, there's no one in ROH I care about (sorry I don't get the hype over Kevin Steen). I haven't been to DragonGate USA since seeing a six man spotfest--it could've been more guys, I don't remember exactly. It was four years ago--in which I saw some of the most ridiculous stuff. Good, vicious spots getting no sold.

My point pretty much is that Daniel Bryan and CM Punk have been keeping me in the game. I'm not fans of their's because they're indie darlings. They're just that good and they've proven it time and time again. They've succeeded in the mainstream against the odds and have constantly delivered. If CM Punk is really gone for good, and if Bryan doesn't at least beat Triple H at Wrestlemania or headline and win the title, I'll be taking a break from wrestling. I'll wait til after Wrestlemania to get the network and watch some of the old stuff. And I'll follow NextNolan's advice on New Japan Pro Wrestling and check that out more.

I don't know, this is just several layers wackness. I don't know how else to put it. :csad:

Just in case you guys didnt see it earlier...to get a point across, How well do you think these shirt designs would sell for Daniel Bryan at the moment if WWE got behind them?:
