Iron Man 2 Edward Norton / Bruce Banner / Hulk Cameo

I agree with this... but what's going to make him change his mind? That's the million dollar question. Maybe Hulk tearing up Stark Industries? Who knows?

Far as I can tell, this is more or less the premise of Iron Man 2. In the beginning, Tony is confident and headstrong. What does he need to join/assemble a team for? He's the GOD DAMN IRON MAN.

However, as the film progresses, he realizes the value of teamwork and whatnot (possibly through the help of War Machine or Nick Fury).

Yay... let's turn this franchise into X-Men... screw that. He's Tony ****ing Stark... but I more or less agree. The final battle or the threat must be REALLY intense if the Hulk's expertise is required. Maybe Hammer has a robot army or something... though I figure they'd save something like that for a movie featuring Ultron. Guess we'll have to play the wait and see game.

Nice!
There's lots of cool ideas for the cameo in here. IF this is true i could see Banner paying Stark a visit for help with a cure. Or maybe it's Stark visiting SHIELD HQ where he's shown classified surveillance of the other superheros or their alter egos.

Seeing how Norton's relationship with Marvel has been frosty since TIH this would be a big deal though. Wonder if Favreau and RDJ had something to do with convincing him to do this? They seemed cosy at Comic Con 2 years ago but then again so was Terrence Howard.:o

BTW in the AICN talkback to this Black Widow story one poster foreshadowed this unconfirmed news weeks ago:

Anyone else heard about this?

Here is an idea we get good guy head strong Toney/Iron Man for the movie...

about half way through we get a very odd almost impromptu visit from both Fury and Ross.... Ross tries his typical bully his way into a conversation style saying something about "that problem Toney promised to help him with" and Fury verbaly backs him down letting him know just who is in charge here and that Toney doesn't take orders from anyone.... at any rate they give him a file with important information on the Hulk some pics of Banner some maps ect ect...

Stark is suiting up to go on the hunt, but some big climactic event goes down with Whiplash.... drawing him back into his own movie...

everything is left alone until the very end.... He gets a call from Fury.... the question is obvious..... what does Toney have on Banner????

but Toney tries to explain everything he just had to deal with.... WHiplash.....the Black Widow,,,, in other words Toney is saying he has been to busy to do much of anything with the information Fury gave him...

Fury seems genuinely agitated.... Tells Toney the last intel they had on Banner placed him in the US..... Says something about a possible inteligence breach, related to Banner being in the US.

Final sequence..... Bruce walking toward Toneys place..... Lighting in the backround and a sinister kind of smile.....

That was a little confusing. And why does bruce have a sinister smile, he's supposed to be one of the nicest guys you'll meet.

Because he can now control it. He can know defend himself from Ross and whoever else.

What I'm surprised at is, a lot of people say that the hulk movies had no character development, well if we see hulk again on the big screen as the main problem in avengers, how does that help solve the character development problem ?
We need to see hulk help the team, show the GA that hulk isn't just some savage beast, and that banner's fate isn't to become a condemned man. Show that hulk can work with people he may call friends, even though he is very reluctant.
I don't have the video, but marvel entertainment did a small video, featuring spider man, iron man, and hulk. Hulk's dialogue was near perfect for a movie, and he easily worked with his team mates.
Does anyone have this vid ?

I suspect you're speaking about this:

^Ya see, that short video shows what the Avengers could be with Hulk in mix. It was perfect.

Yeah well Strange also thought when he merged with the demon Zom that he would kick Hulk's ass easily, and we all know how that turned out. I think Strange has a habit of seriously underestimating the Hulk's power simply because it's not of a magical/supernatural nature. I think GR would be toast.

GR has beaten Hulk before, and would have beaten WWH but Bruce Banner is an innocent soul so GR didnt want to fight him or hurt him, Strange says in WWH-GR that GR's powers are limitless.

I'm a big Hulk fan, but the modern GR is on another level, especially when you take Johnny Blaze out of the equation.

It'd be sweet if Bruce does get a cameo but if it happens I figure it will like like Tony's was in TIH: Very brief, after the main story is done having no impact on that, and just before (or after) the credits.
Regarding the Hulk himself, I cant see them showing the big green guy. This is Iron-Man's film after all, and just like with TIH, where we only saw Tony, not Iron-Man, so I'd say it would be the same approach here.

How could this go down? Well, as we know Tony is refusing Fury in the film, but we also know he is onboard with the plan at the end of TIH, I would guess they will address that discrepancy first, so he agrees to work with Fury by the end of IM2. They might just end it with no Bruce cameo and Fury arranging that bar meeting with Ross, but I would love it if they did something like this:
They cut to Banner's hiding place up in Canada and have Tony (in full armor) land just outside the cabin. Banner calmly opens the door with that familiar green glow in his eyes, and says "Nice suit...Hope you have a spare.". Tony opens the face plate on the armor and replies: "Doctor Banner, I'm not here to make you angry, I'm here to make you an offer" (or something like that). Roll credits...

That vid is superb, something like this needs to be done in Avengers for sure.

Plus, god I hope this rumour is true.

This has been the best idea so far IMO, this would be amazing, and would then lead right into Avengers. Although, it might mess a bit with Hulk fighting everyone in Avengers, which i'm sure they will want to do.

Love that vib. To me, that is how the Hulk sounds and should sound. I love "Spider-Man say help puny Iron Man, So, HULK HELP!" Cracks me up with glee to hear that. Also "Puppy" is pretty good to. :yay:

The puppy bit was probably the best for me, it shows Hulk's good nature, doing of it his own accord and not being told to. Would love to see a moment like that in a future Hulk movie.

If the main villain in Avengers is Loki (they have hinted it might be and it would be neat if it was considering in the comics Loki was responsible for the Avengers getting together in the first place) I figure he could come up with a means to turn the Hulk on the others, like tricking Banner into losing whatever control he has gained (make him think Betty was killed by Thor or something).

I love this video, especially for its representation of Hulk.

"Hulk crush big metal maaaaaaan! GRAAAAAH!"

"Puppyyyyyyyy..."

I have proof about the Norton cameo in IM2!!!

It's a sex scene with Scarlett and Gwyneth.
