What about the Akaviri? Aren't they the influence behind the Blades armour and weaponry anyway?

To be honest, I never got very far in Morrowind. It would crash the computer my parents had at the time after playing it for 30 minutes or so, and then I just gave up on it.
If I see a group of warriors from Morrowind running around Skyrim in armor like that, then I'll okay with it.

Here you go, the history of the Akaviri. In the same way that Skyrim is basically an Elder Scrolls Norway, it seems like Akavir was originally an ES cross between Japan and China, known as the 'dragon land'. I don't see what's wrong with this being the case. It even says their martial ability, system of law and order and concept of emperors served as an influence for the early Imperial Empire. I think it fits into the ES lore perfectly.

I feel like I should have known this, but for some reason it slipped my mind.
They should have the next game be about a World War where you have to go to Akavir and the other landmasses that haven't been shown. The games make it seem like Tamriel is the center of the world and the only landmass.

Yeah. I wouldn't mind if they went back in the timeline either.

Also, the Khajit homeland of Elswyr sounds pretty cool, desert and jungles could be really interesting and different. Big contrast to Skyrim anyway.

I'm sure we'll visit other continents in the future, but personally I'm in no rush to leave Tamriel.

I specifically said expansion and not mesh with Skyrim.
You should also be able to play as a panda.

You can spawn a dragon at your location. So it can be attempted.

Is there a way to force NPCs to change what they're wearing? I know some followers will change their armor if it's better than what they have.

I think it could work by clicking them and doing removeitem and additem.

I love the part at 1.52 where the Dark Elf woman is standing in view, then a dragon whooshes by, the woman is gone and all we can see is a ring spinning in the air. It's as if the dragon just took her, hilarious.

It happens fast, so start watching from around 1.45 or so and pay close attention to the woman in view, I think she is a Dark Elf.

yes they do but I can't figure out what the time-scale is. I've had it where they respawn after a few in-game days or a month in-game.
