I don't either just watch tv through the monitor steaming from the net (legally) and buy dvd's instead of blueray, save alot of money. When you are sitting 3-4 feet away I don't really notice all that much of a diffrence. Same with games as well, usually just lower the resolution when playing with the xbox360 pad for the extra performance.

everytime i go into a dungeon i go in with 150 pounds on me....i leave with 350.....why must you have so many goodies.

You need to prioritize loot by the weight to value ratio.

Don't take any weapons you may have already taken or can make yourself. Especially 2-handed weapons.

I've encountered 3 annoying bugs. I killed someone in Markarth, but there's no way to bribe the guard or serve my jail time. If I click the latter, it just loops the conversation. So my only option is run. So now I can't go back to Markarth until that bug is fixed in a patch.

Another bug is one Companion quest won't start if you've received the quest from the Jarl of Winterhold to return the Helm of Winterhold. You have to complete that one before finishing the previous Companion quest.

The last bug is I already killed the dragon at Mount Anthor, but doing that is a quest from the Jarl's assistant. I went there again, the dragon was on its perch, I shot arrows and it never moved. It died but nothing happened, it didn't fall, didn't give me its soul. I fasttraveled somewhere nearby, and the dragon is still on its perch but roaring.

I encountered kind of a funny bug last night. I was riding into Whiterun, my homeland within Skyrim, after a long day of looting caves and slaying all manner of beast, and then suddenly three guards, who are supposed to serve and protect me, start attacking me for no reason. Two wailing on me with swords, another pecking at me from a distance with a bow. I get off my trusty steed, and pull out my shield to block their assault. They kept at it for a while and didn't seem to be slowing down. I tried to put down my weapons to see if they would stop their attack, but they weren't having it. At this point, I had enough, and I was ready To tussle. I pull out my mace and bash one guard in the face as hard as I can. He falls to his knees, everyone else stops and puts away their weapons. He gets up, and suddenly everyone is all smiles, acting friendly to me. You know, like the three of them weren't all just trying to savagely murder me a second ago.

Dovahkiin gets no respect. No respect I tell ya!

There's also a heavy armor perk that makes heavy armor weigh nothing. I can't wait to get that. It's going to free up a lot more inventory room for me. I currently usually have around 230 pounds of gear with me at all times.

So far, I've got too named quests that I just can't finish because they've bugged out on me. This is really, very, very annoying.

For those of you who have gotten so far, should I tackle the main quest or the civil war stuff first? I've heard that some quests are different depending on which you finish first.

He wasn't talking about you not having one, it's the "finally wanting one" that was weird. Most people want a HDTV, regardless of if they can afford it or not.

Like me!

OH! Sorry. I totally misread that.

It's never bothered me honestly. For just regular watching and pretty much all other games I've played it's never been a concern. I wouldn't even care about HD for Skyrim either if it wasn't for the teenie tiny words.

Soapy, just play it however you feel! :woot: Personally I did the Dragonborn stuff first and have yet to go near the war. I think one can effect the other in multiple ways, so you may end playing it several times anyway!

Hey guys how do I finish the Discerning The Transmundane ? I gave the guy the Lexcion & I am Level 15. But hes not saying anything

After you speak to him, go up the stairs to exit. I'll say no more!

Also has anyone had trouble with Regain The Pale quest ? The arrow lead me to the Imperial chick but then it just opens up a new quest ? It wont even let me see the Pale quest on the map anymore

I would avoid the Civil War stuff for a while. Completing that has permananetly bugged out two quests for me, the first Bard College quest and the Blood on the Ice Windhelm quest.

I got to 100 smithing. Both Dragon armors look like crap. The Daedra stuff is cool but I'm not a fan of using such over the top armor. I'll stick to my Steel Plate armor, it's gorgeous. Plus I enchanted parts to give myself bonus stamina and fire and frost resistance.

World Of Warcraft added a thing were you could exchange stats to other peices of lower, weaker armour to get the visual asthetic you want. It sounded like a great idea.

just maxed out my two-handed and heavy armor skill. I am beastly now

I beat the main quest today. Pretty cool. Loving my Dragon Armor. I'm going to try and work on upping my neglected sneak skill so I can do the theives/dark brotherhood quests with my Orc.

I think I'm gonna focus on the main quest right now. I've been saving it until I'm a higher level and I think I've finally gotten there. I think level 51 should be high enough to kick anythings ass

I watched Thor again tonight and seeing Loki fight in that one scene got me thinking, my next playthrough I'm going to try playing completely different. Use all the magic skills besides Destruction and Restoration and only Light Armor. Now I'm strong enough where I just run through dungeons slaughtering everyone in my heavy armor with my Daedra sword.

I unlocked the decapitation perk in One-Handed. It's useless but so satisfying to see :awesome:

I've completed the Companions quest and am now a werewolf (after a agonizing stint as a vampire).

I made a huge mistake in The Forsworn Conspiracy quest by choosing to fight the guards at the Shrine. Now my bounty is beyond that of taking prisoner and I can't complete the rest of the quest...Unless there is a way to bribe everyone?
