I know ita deff been mine. 67 hours! Cant believe it. The next closest is prob Battlefield 3 at around 40 hrs

I have close to 120 hours...on my first character.

I'm not sure about the other two, probably near 140-150 if I were to add them all together.

I wish I could go back and change my senior quote in my high school yearbook to "FUS RO DAH!"

haha I was just watching that. I love Achievement Hunters. Some guy in the comments said that every merchant has one of these.

So...out of curiousity...

You guys use a follower? and if so, which one is your favourite?

Wow, I've been slacking. I only have 58 hours.

Do any of you guys own the PS3 version of this game? I'm wondering if it's as horribly broken as I've been hearing.
It's not. I think that has a lot to do with simple inter-console hate spreading rumors.

I've only encountered one real issue before the latest patch:

After every save/autosave (so pretty much EVERYTIME i went to a new location) the game would freeze for about 30-60 seconds.

Since the patch came, this issue has been fixed, though I encountered one instance of a dragon not giving me it's soul, which the patch should have fixed.

In either case, I've not had any problems where i would remotely consider it to be broken on the PS3. Sure, there might be some frame rate issues here and there (I can count those times on one hand), but look at almost any game out there on any console or pc, and you'll find that happens at times.

If you're asking because you're thinking about getting it on the PS3, fear not.

It's not, the problem is real which is why Bethesda is collecting people's save files and releasing tips to hopefully elevate some of it. The reason you haven't encountered the framerate issue yet is because it doesn't even start kicking in until you've put in at least 60 hours with the game, and even then it really depends on how massive your save file size is getting.

I agree with you that my experience with the PS3 version isn't that it's 'broken', but I have encountered a lot of framerate issues and lockups are unfortunately getting more frequent.

This is how it was before the first patch:

I started a new character, a Nord (named Eddard Stark :awesome:)

Already I'm enjoying it. It's fun to see things you didn't catch, like Tulius, Ulfric, and Thalmoor at the very beginning. I also got the Golden Claw quest, before I just ran into it clearing the cave (which I think is a main quest objective). I also came across The Companions killing a Giant outside Whiterun, didn't see that last time.

I also plan on doing the Cicero quest before the Dark Brotherhood (this character is killing them all though).

I'm just about Level 35, and I'm finding the rest of the dragon shouts. I completed the main quest a few days ago, which was awesome.

I love that. I missed so much the first time because I was running around panicking in all the confusion. I didn't even know you could choose who to run with, I just immediately followed the guy in red.

As for followers, I don't use them very often because they steal my XP, but I've used Erandur more than anyone else. I also tried using a dog but they're useless, bark all the time and can't sneak worth a damn.

Horses aren't technically followers, but I've had at least two and I think I'm the only Skyrim player who doesn't like them. They die too easily for my liking.

Farkus or Vilkus. Apparently both respawn back at the companion lodge if they die.

Heh..farkas is a girly man. he's afraid of spiders!

J'Zango... He and i are like that.

J'Zango....that's the Khajit, right? the one that's wanted you to find his amulet? I didn't know he's a follower.

As for me,it's Lydia all the way! Give her good equipments and she's a tank! we're level 25 now, and she can take down a frost dragon all on her own.

I don't really care about XP. I'm about 60 hours in and i'm only level 25 because i'm having too much fun just exploring. And you're right about dogs, theyre twice more irritating than the infamous dogmeat.

I like having followers. It's also made sense to me that the dragonborn would have allies....and i've just no interest in playing a lone god of war. There's already one god of war and his name is Kratos.

Yeah. The first time I played and got to Riverwood when you can start doing anything you want, I was overwhelmed. I thought "Ok, I want to join the Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Companions, kill dragons, do the main quest, do the Daedra quests....where do I start?"

This time, I have a plan and know what to do. Since I've tried doing everything, I don't have to worry about missing out.

I've noticed some new changes with the patch. The Ali'kr Warriors leave Whiterun after you speak to them, Heimskr doesn't rant like a madman all the time (haven't seem him ranting at all in fact), and there are new map markers that look like mountains with a line going down the center.

I switched out Lydia for Jenassa after I harried married her. She's much better than Lydia about not getting in the way. I'm currently on a self-imposed exile from Skyrim, to make sure I don't get sick of it from playing too much. I've been playing Deus Ex instead, as I wanted to go through it again a second time, but never got around to it.

J'Zango is the Khajit from the Mage's College who wants you to test out his flame cloak scrolls. He has some pretty funny dialogue and he's got some good, high level destruction spells which is good if you don't use much magic. I find the melee companions just get in the way and I always end up hitting them with my sword.

Yea im kinda doing the same thing. Started playing Batman a little more and picked my season back up in F1 2011. Have only done 2 races in the season so far, but when each race takes upwards of 2 hours, ya reallllly have to pace yourself.

I've never really had that problems with companions. The key is to know how to work with them, most times, i just manouvered the enemy between us, that way i hit him from the front ( since they always comes after you first) and she can hit them from behind. We took down many powerful enemies together that way.

While the companions in Skyrim are great IMO, i'm kinda upset that they don't have any iddle chatters like the companions on FO3.It add to their characters

And sometimes it can lead to a funny situation.

I remember one time i took Clover with me to attack the Talon mercs base. After we killed everyone there, she inadvertently walked into a landmine. As she limps towards me, she said one of her trademarks idlle chatter: 'this place sucks!' hehe:oldrazz:

Bought this today. ****ing amazing. Love it. I couldn't really get into Oblivion. But this is my kinda game.

I've just killed my first Dragon at Whiterun and was wondering, would you guys go to see the Greybeards now or do some other side quests? I'm only level 4 at the moment. And when and where can i get some bad ass armour and weapons?

Well, you could just start Blacksmithing, spam Iron Daggers (save them for enchanting leveling) and sooner or later ytou can create your own badass armor thru Blacksmithing Perks.

Eh, i honestly don't care for the Dragonborn stuff, but doing the main questline gets you to see how it kinda connects with the Dragons and Civil War, so do it till you meet a certain spy.
