I know the score for this game is awesome... but i've been listening to The Doors and smoking a few joints whilst playing. Quite an experience let me tell ya.

Led Zeppelin would be more appropriate, at least for me. I think I'll do that (without the drugs) after I beat the game.

Yes! Found him at the very start of the game when I was heading to Whiterun for the first time. I'm not sure if there's a story/mission revolving around him. No one has ever mentioned him. Ran into him once, followed him, tried to talk/fight, but I got nothing.

If you can keep up with him, he will lead you to a graveyard at which point you will be attacked by skeletons and receive a master's chest for beating them.

I saw him when I was on my hunt for Sinding. I was going to chase him down, but I was getting tired of approaching random people in the wild and getting my butt handed to me. Now that I'm a werewolf, that will hopefully change.

Following the Headless Horseman got me into fights with Orc Hunters, an encounter with Thalmor clowns and I finally lost track of him when he led me to a scene of Alduin resurrecting a dragon and I went straight for the dragon while it was still in "resurrection" mode. Don't think if I'll ever encounter him again.

So i've unlocked 4 shouts, i've killed 8 Dragons... but i still can't use 2 of my shouts. What gives? It's the ice breath one and the astral one.

Did you actually go into the Shouts menu and hit the button to use a soul and unlock the shout?

Ive never had a problem with Lydia, either.

I think most of it is sarcasm, because the follower AI is kinda stupid. A lot of people feel some kind of loyalty toward her, as do I. That's why I made her a Blade.
