DRAGON MOUNTS NOWWWWW.

Please. please.

Honestly, I'm more interested in some of the small stuff that really lets you immerse yourself in the world. Dragon mounts, Kinect shouts and giant mud crabs are cool (actually looks like one of the better boss fights that Bethesda has ever produced) but the little stuff is better. Dark dungeons has potential to be terrifying. Animations for ranged and magic combat would be a great addition. Environmental tweaks like snow footprints and seasonal changes may seem small but would really pull the player in. And I love the idea of being able to make a customized home and adopt a kid. It allows the player to really build a life for their character.

Dark dungeons with GIANT ASS frostbite spiders? Yes.

I think Skyrim needs more Giant Spiders. *Sees if Matt agrees*

:argh: For the goodness sake Bethesda, put in an option to turn off spiders!

I'll admit, I got chills seeing it silhouetted in the dark dungeon part of that clip. It would make certain dungeons really creepy.

I like that song, and a lot of the stuff in the video looked really fun.

But I'd really love it if the game would stop crashing my PS3! :argh:

Didn't they just release the patch for PS3 today that fixed that problem?

Or at least turn them into some other animal, or a cute, cuddly, bloodthirsty bunny wabbit.

Well it's still early, hopefully it will be up by the time I get back from school this afternoon. But when I played an hour ago it wasn't there.

Well not sure what time the patches go up normally. Good luck :P

I'm with you on that. New adventures are great, but things like adopting kids is the stuff that really stands out.

That said, the giant crab looked pretty cool!

I just wonder how much of this stuff they'll actually include.

Possibly none of it. Todd said they were all just experiments.

I think a $10 add-on pack would be pretty cool. Rather than a full expansion, something like the "Stuff," packs that EA does for the Sims. Minor tweaks rather than full expansion. Adding things like adopting children, ranged kill animations, a few different mounts, goblins and a few new enemies, snow footprints, seasons, darken some dungeons, etc. And maybe if they were feeling really generous cap it off with house building and adding the giant mudcrap somewhere along the coast as an Easter egg boss.

It wouldn't be redesigning the wheel or making a full expansion, but it would be a nice way to extend the game's life and make a little profit while fans wait for full expansion.

I have no problem paying for additional content, but a lot of that stuff seems like it ought to just be in a patch though. If they were to release it all.

Also, just a random note, but someone on NeoGAF said they want Bethesda's next game to just be two or three years of "Game Jam". I think I agree. Not that anything that awesome would ever happen though.

Yeah, it SHOULD be but I doubt that they would give us anything new without making us pay for it.

Eh, they deserve to be paid for that. Its content that isn't in the game as of now, so they have to spend the time to create it. I deff think they should release all of that as some form of paid DLC while they work on crafting their expansion.

Some things like footprints in the snow, seasonal changes, and new kill animations seem silly to pay for as they are just minor cosmetic tweaks.

Others however, like new mounts, house building, giant mudcrab, adopted children and new enemies, I see as a reasonable thing to charge for.

That being said, if they included the snow footprints, seasons and kill animations with an "add-on," pack, I wouldn't really complain that it isn't part of a free patch either.

I'd happily pay for it! But you never know, they might give some stuff away after all that drama with the Horse Armor :D

I'm not sure about New Vegas, but with Fallout 3 the DLC tended to add a new story/location along with little add-on stuff for the world. 'Broken Steel' in particular added a whole bunch of new features and creatures. Bethesda might go that route again, giving us snow foot prints and goblins along with a new story and location.
