I like mods, but too many can have a reverse effect. I originally played Oblivion on PC. I modded it like crazy, and used console cheats. The game, despite all the extras, became so boring and bland I quit shortly after. I didn't play it again until I got it on PS3. Being denied cheats, and mods, meant I had to earn my cash, and explore to get my fun. Which led to me playing, and loving the game far more on PS3, than I did on PC.
The PC version is superior, no doubt. Extra's are also welcome since you don't have to use them. I just think for me personally, mods are too tempting, and typically kill the fun when I over indulge on them. So I've grown to like Oblivion, and Skyrim on consoles just purely so that temptations not there. It may sound odd, but that's just what I've decided, gimped version and all.
With Sony being more opened to mods than the 360, I wouldn't mind if they brought over a few more choice mods from PC, and put them on the PS Store. I just don't want to have all the crazy mods available to me in seconds, tempting me, lol.
