What does Musk even get out of being a republicans supporter?
He already is the richest man in the world and he isnt an american citizen...so accountability and taxes arent that big of a problem for him.
What does he gain from openly supporting Trump?
He already shared the fanbase before...what is in for him that wasnt before?
If anything it seems siding with Trump, ruins quite a lot of things for one...especially globally thinking.
And remember, Trump is fully against Electric cars and stuff, so against Tesla a great deal.

Im not getting Musks endgame here when at least faking a centrist would give him more benefits than siding with Trump directly.

He doesn't get to pay taxes. (Although he probably already enjoys that.) Or maybe Trump promised Musk more government subsidies for his crappy vehicles if he gets back in the White House?

If he would be the kind of person he thinks he is, he would just love his child uncondicionally for who they are no matter what.
But he is just like every other bad person...someone who only sees value in people as long as he can benefit of them or as long as they do exactly as he wants.

This is the same guy who lied about holding his other child as it took its last breath, when in reality he wasnt there when it happened.

Just your usual bad father, bad person.
He isnt special, he is just another rich awful human being.
