Musk talking about going to space annoys me on so many levels because of how pretentious he is.
Does he really think he is the driving force in getting people to other planets? No he isnt.
In 100 years or what we make bigger steps than anything He will have done in this world for that.

Nothing he does is in any way is pushing us further, because at the same time he helps build a world that actively does everything to hinder science and all.

If guys like him would work on making this planet better for everyone, he would achieve much more than his performative reach for the Stars.
Get rid of poverty, fund all kinds of science and health departments etc.
That is helping Humanity reach the stars faster than shooting rockets into the sky.
