Elon Musk Buys X (formerly Twitter)

If you wouldnt knew it better, you could think it was a Parody...but this was a honest video they put out thinking it was good.
Like, she couldnt even pretend to be human in this, every word, every movement so fake.
And of course people provide a ton of proof why whenever anybody working at Twitter talks about freedom...its nonsense.
Even with the obvious judge shopping he did, I look forward to Elon's legal team explaining why him telling advertisers to **** off and then they do is illegal or antitrust.
There is no way he can win and force Advertisers to go to his page.
Alone him literally telling advertisers to leave, is enough to end this.

I love those comics, it gets the insanity of Musk so well across.
But yeah, how in gods name does Musk think he can sue Companies and force them to come back?
Like, there is legally no way he can get that to happen.

These companies just have to go into a random tweet and show the comments to provide examples for how being on Twitter is hurting their brand.
Then show the clip of Musk literally being a smug guy and telling companies that he doesnt care if advertisers leave...and the case is done.

The theory he is going for is that the boycott is an attempt to get cheaper ad rates. Which is a form of market manipulation that is illegal.

Oh, and looking at the judge, Reed O'Connor, yeah, Musk judge shopped hard.

Oh lord, Rumble is apparently also suing the World Federation of Advertisers.

Elon pushing that civil war in the UK is inevitable and other narratives whipping up haters/rioters - how free users must feel to post content organising and encouraging riots when the owner of the site is doing the same. The EU should take serious action against social media giants who are enabling all this and Musk in particular.

Futurism - Elon Musk to Sue X Advertisers After Telling Them to "**** Themselves"
A new entry for the Galaxy Brain Hall-of-Fame, legal scholar Elon Musk is here to set a new kind of precedent.

Elon Musk Has Turned X Into His Personal Political Playground

Elon Musk accused Twitter’s leadership of tipping the scales politically. But now he’s doing just that with X.

He is a manchild so of course he resides in a playpen.

So many things wrong with this stupid suit starting with the 1st Amendment and going downhill from there.

I would like to promote Threads on the mere fact that I can actually search and read posts and replies without making an account. Something Twitter has stopped doing.

For some reason I didn't realise you could view it without an account, and I thought you needed an Instagram account to get a Threads account. Will do some snooping in that case lol.

Yep it's still linked to your Insta.

Pretty dumb for people who don't have an Instagram account or otherwise want one. If it's to stop anonymous accounts it's a good idea but then should allow people to sign up using their Facebook or any other identifying account.

Meta has said they plan to make it a more independent app, but no clue if that means separate accounts. They're probably gunshy after almost being busted as a monopoly, which is why they cancelled their plans to unify WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, and FB Messenger.

Elon has said he plans to remove the Block feature this fall for Twitter, so hey that may give more motivation to move on over

It has to be studied how companies and Politicans etc rallied around Musk and in the span of what? 2-3 years he managed to be so deranged, that the same run from him.
The Man that easily could have held the world in his hands, and now only Tech Bros and right wing weirdos want to have anything to do with him.

Biggest pet peeve about Threads is the lack of Leftist politicos on there. They either tried the platform and abandoned it or never used it. For all the complaining about Elon, they sure don't want to use his competitors.
