That would be awesome if I did work for their public relations team. For as many young Spidey fans I assist through the years they SHOULD give me a cut of something. Maybe some free comics or something.
And if I were Joe Quesada the first thing I'd do is go on a diet...man, I got fat!
But seriously, I wouldn't call ASM crap. It's not every Spidey fans cup of tea right now because of recent events but there are worse as someone else just said in this thread.

Just not sure, at the price of comics these days, if it is one of the top 10 or even 20 i'd personally pick up.
Which is sad...Amazing has always been my favorite.

but i think the 65 cent "era" was my favorite time...not sure why...just seems to stand out to me...

No it's not pure crap. It's just not at it's best, the supporting cast has been decimated, the marriage may on the rocks, it's seen better times.

ASM isn't total crap...althought it's far from "good". I'm still reading it, although I refuse to buy it until JMS is gone(and Ron Garney, who hasn't drawn a decent Spidey YET).
Once all the "Shock" and "Awe" is over, I might come back for Loeb & Campbell.
Besides....ASM can't be the worst so long as FNSM is still out there letting the "Evil Uncle Ben" run amok with "Amnesiac Flash". Ugh.

He'd probably try to "phase out" the Gwen controversy and introduce a hot young female that likes to party, has red hair...justifying it by saying the Peter character needs to retain youth and having a love interest as feisty as MJ helps.

PP/SM is written un realistically like a noob who would not realise un masking would greatly compromise his quality of life and greatly endanger his family.

I know that's what I'd do if I was a teacher with marital troubles, wanted off and on by the police, responsible for at least hundreds of thousands of dollars in property damage, a rogue's gallery who all have trouble staying dead or in jail--show everybody who I really am because it's "the law."

Pete is a modern day ground breaker now. He is hip and trendy. A rebel.
If Aunt May or MJ take a bullet and die....he'll dump ice on their bodies daily and keep them frozen until technolgy (or LOKI) can just revive them.
Or venom can take over there limp bodies and make the move around somehwat alive. WHo knows...but it is a fun ride Joey Q is taking us on regardless. Give him credit guys! Come on!
