Episode 16 - "Unexpected" - Discussion Thread 2/19/07

or perhaps since they managed to save the cheerleader...

Did they??

Which cheerleader were they supposed to save? ;)

One was saved. Another wasn't.

It was never specified who was supposed to be saved, so it's still unknown if they were successful or not...

that's just a retarted attempt at a loophole...how would Jackie's death affect anyone?
if Claire had died, Sylar would get her powers, thus making him unstoppable

I dont think it's that simple though.

We've seen that Isaac's paintings always come true. Are you saying that the future is predetermined? Or is there a possibility that they can change it?

Kring: As storytellers, we are locked into the idea that the future can be changed, given the right circumstances. It's how those circumstances line up. And clearly, the "save the cheerleader, save the world" is going to have something to do [with that], when you look back at the end of the season. "'Oh, I get it. That's why they had to do that. I get it. It all makes sense." So it's been really fun to tell the story in that way, so that these payoffs several episodes later hit people with a real "Ah, I get it. That's why we had to save the cheerleader."

I dont think we know why saving the cheerleader was so important yet.

Sylar still can get her powers. She's still alive, he's still alive and he knows where she lives

I only watch Heroes when I'm really bored, because watching the show feels more like a chore than a pleasure.

And for the most part this was another episode of me sighing all the way through. But then, for the first time in ages something good happend, right at the end what's her face gets shot. Greatness.

I've hated Peter and his moron haircut the whole way through, but now he's learning to control his powers... he's just getting more annoying.

stop watching the ****ing show if you're just going to ***** and moan about it :whatever:

Go to hell.

You sure hit the mark, Ab.

It had to be, even if it turns out a dream thing. We still have more to learn from her, and as far as I know there's no contract issue like with Edens actress.
