Well remembe,- he didn't just have to be angry to change into the Hulk- stress, pain, AND anger play a part in his transformations. In the movie, you saw those emotional variations: The first was due to frustation, and anger. He was pissed that his blood test came back not normal, the visit from father after THRITY YEARS, and Talbot past relationship with Betty. Then the second was brought on by anger, pain, and stress. As he tried to convey to Talbot about his father's ploy to hurt Betty, and the ass-kickin' he took as well! The thrid was all pain, the drill trying to extract his DNA, and FINALLY being able to recall the death of his mother by his father's hand. And the last was pure rage, having to deal with his father's provoking him to anger, and feeling the loss of not knowing his mother. So with that said, do you still feel the same about his performance during the transformations now?Odin's Lapdog said:which one, do you mean the talbot one...?
i know he wasn't angry in the hulk base environment but i don't have a problem with that one...
his facial expressions during his change don't really reflect rage in my opinion, he doesn't really look angry until he's transformed into the hulk as if that's a pinnacle of his angry emotions.
I always thought he would get angry as banner, then blow the roof off it as the hulk while in the films it seems that their joint anger peak is the hulk so we never really see banner looking pissed off mean.
