I'll believe it when I see it. According to the Bible, God left the Ark when Jesus was crucified since it signified the end of the old covenant and the beginning of a new one, so it should be safe to touch.

I'm skeptical if the church would allow any kind of testing of date to be done on it, seeing as the Shroud of Turin is currently kept under lock and key now that it's known to be a hoax.
